This the Ubhebe crater. There is a small parking lot. Trails around the rim and into the crater. Great views.Clean and well stocked restrooms. No showers though.Dump station with potable water.Pay station located at the entrance.Several restrooms scattered around the campground. Nearby are dishwashing sinks.Very small amphitheater for such a big campground.

Park workers were helpful and friendly. Site was level and roomy enough for comfort.

The staff were courteous and helpful, bathrooms are clean and well maintained. There is a general problem with the size and separation of the campsites at this campground. Do not be surprised if your tent is literally within 10ft of your neighbors tent. So not my idea of a good camping experience.

When I tried to pitch a tent, the stakes would not go into the ground. I found soft earth underneath and very close to the trees. Even then I had to use large stones to secure the edges of the tent and also put rocks inside the perimeter of the tent. The winds were extremely strong the entire night. The campers were respectful of the curfew. The staff kindly informed me that I could only park on the cement. The bathrooms were clean and in good working order. It was a wonderful visit.

Tent site had some shade and the 100+ degree sun was partially blocked. The bathrooms were clean.

Lieu enchanteur, un peu trop occup les sites sont proches les uns des autres. La possibilit daller aux douches et la piscine du ranch($) tait gniale.

We were fortunate to get a site with hook ups instead of one with no hook ups less than 2 weeks before we came, using the alert notification system. This was a big relief as th temperatures in the 90s wouldve been intolerable for us seniors. The campground location was very convenient.

I was at site 146. It was nice not to be next to the generator noise from the RVs. The sites are super close to each other. There is not a lot of space. You are literally starring at each other. Not a lot of privacy even with bushes on the side. Also, it wasnt clear that everyone has to park on the same side and hence, walk through site 145 to get to the 146 spot. The guys at 145 wanted to block the walkway to 146 thinking we could go through the back side to get to the bathrooms and wash stations. They were annoyed. I had to explain to them that everyone parks on the same side and therefore the sites behind them have to walk next to their site to get to our site. You can hear everyone around you. On the positive side, bathrooms were clean and wash stations were very nice for dishes etc. FYI, I recommend bringing an EZ Up to help with shade over the picnic table. It was a life saver. The campsite is still nice and close to most major attractions.

Furnace Creek Campground is a wide open desert campground with many sites. We had one with some trees covering an area perfect to get out of the morning and afternoon sun. Almost all hook-up sites are out in the open and pop up shade is mandatory. Sites are tight but OK. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. More water spigots for tent campers would be nice. Location is close to major attractions. The visitors center is informative and fun.

Beautiful park

I would give a higher rating except the washrooms in the morning were by no standard clean. Sad, as it is otherwise an excellent choice from which to enjoy the surrounding area.

Furnace creek campground was amazing. there are large potable water stations, and my site had plenty of space. the campground is an easy walk to the visitor center, and the post office.

We enjoyed our stay (tent only site). The campground was beautiful, clean and quiet even though it was full.
@FeliciaSE60088 · Camped on Apr 4, 2026 at Campsite #150
Site 150 was listed as a walk up site but conveniently had a parking spot right in front of the site. Located across from the group sites and next to the bathrooms, the site was open, flat and had a tiny amount of shade from a nearby clump of trees. Furnace creek campground was very nice with beautiful views and conveniently located to surrounding sights. Would camp there again!

I stayed one night at Campsite 21. The staff at check-in were very helpful and gave clear instructions, which made the experience smooth and stress-free.Campsite 21 faces east, and there are trees on the west side that provide shade in the evening, making it comfortable to relax. The site also has a fire pit, and I was able to enjoy a campfire. In addition, it is conveniently located close to the restroom and water facilities.However, the light in the womens restroom was not working, which I think should be improved.

The camp ground was nice with some shade. Camp sites were very close together.

We stayed in Group Site 3, which was enormous. The signage for sites 3 and 4 is al little confusing, so the first night we were there, another group, meant for Site 4, was occupying our spot. We ended up sharing it for one night. The campground is in a central location near the park. Accessible, potable water, pretty clean bathrooms, and well-labeled dumpsters all nearby. Little shade, but that's the desert for you.

Really nice campground WITH full hookups. Clean and next to the visitors center. We could walk over to the visitor center from our site easily. Full sky campground. Had no issues with starlink. Respectfull distance was given when this campground was designed between sites. Lots of garbage dumpsters located as you exit the campground. Noticed a good share if tent campers along the sides. We had a pull through site and it was delightful.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
