We enjoyed two nights at this campground. We were pleased with the location of the campground. We were lucky that all neighbors respected quiet hours. We were also happy that restrooms were clean. Overall great campground, I recommend it and would definitely stay here again.

Pretty bare bones. Bathroom doesnt even have real mirrors and there are no paper towels.

The park is great. The campground is okay, if you don't mind being packed in like sardines.50 million acres and the campground gets only a couple.If you don't have an rv, you'll probably prefer lower Texas springs--no generators or rvs, and lower density.

Always a great experience camping at Furnace Creek Campground. Facilities are clean and stocked with TP. No hand soap in the bathrooms though, so bring your own.

Love the tent only sites away from the RVs and generators. There are small trees for shade and lots of space. Clean bathrooms and utility sinks

Great campground with clean restrooms and a convenient dishwashing area. Campfires and barbecues were allowed, and our site had a perfect mix of sun and shade. Easy access, smooth traffic, and strong Verizon service made the stay even better. Highly recommended!

Campground was nice but wasnt aware there was a No Generator rule. The temp got down to freezing at night. Planned to spend 2 nights but left after one for Tucson and saguaro

Very small space with ambiguous space layout with space #17. Luckily space #17 cancelled. Highly recommend alternative space, but overall campsite was perfectly located for our time.

Camp Host was a bit over reaching our first night, and also found his sarcastic innuendos about our group who were gathering for the third yes unnecessary. Maybe a rough day or two, but after that all was good. Great location with easy access to visitor center, The Ranch and a short drive for dinner at the Inn.

Easy to access lots of points of interest in the park. Clean bathrooms and convenient trash and propane recycling in the campsite. Have to hunt for a good place to put pegs down, lots of rocks so it was annoying trying to set up the tent.

Camping was great. Weather was good, no wind, rain, or snow. A shame so many roads were washed out but that's nature.

Great site to camp

Not exactly the fault of the campground, but no work has been done to fix any roads for the last few storms. I checked in late and work before dawn to see the sunrise. I went according to the map and saw what I could see, coming back to check in. I find this strange since I paid for the site but still have to check in. Staff was cold but adequate. Campsite was really full so this could be part of that. Desert camping is what it is, and Furnace Creek was Bette than most. Good trip and would stay again if in the area.

Great location and is close to all the popular spots! Campsites are VERY close to each other just to note! Other than that beautiful and restrooms are clean!

Furnace Creek campground was a pleasant campsite. It was nice to have a fire ring, table, and close access to bathroom. Also so close to the visitor center and in the heart of the park.

We had a wonderful visit. Such a pretty place. Unfortunately many areas were closed due to a recent storm/flooding event. But pretty cool to see standing water in formerly dry creek beds. Perfect temperature there in the winter. Our entire Hitched4fun com crew had a blast.

My experiences at furnace creek campground are generally stellar. It's a lovely campground with great staff. However, camp hosts can get a little over zealous over charging an ebike at an empty site. I don't think this should be a big deal. If I could reserve a site with full hookups I would but they never seem to be available. Just turn a blind eye unless it becomes ridiculously pervasive anyway

Had a great time at the Furnace Creek campground. Good facilities there and convenient to many of the popular attractions.

Always very clean restrooms, great staff. Also like that the cell service is greatly improved.

Great campground, amazing views. The only bad side is that they don't have showers and the closer ones are in Stovepipe Wells (about 30min driving) and cost $10.
@SusanW3089432 · Camped on Nov 29, 2025 at Campsite #118
Due to circumstances beyond anyone's control, the park had major flooding prior to our visit. The campsite we reserved was in bad shape and we were offered an alternate site. This was greatly appreciated. A lot of the roads were closed due to the floods making things very limited. Other than that, it was ok. The rangers were accommodating considering the circumstances.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
