Not exactly the fault of the campground, but no work has been done to fix any roads for the last few storms. I checked in late and work before dawn to see the sunrise. I went according to the map and saw what I could see, coming back to check in. I find this strange since I paid for the site but still have to check in. Staff was cold but adequate. Campsite was really full so this could be part of that. Desert camping is what it is, and Furnace Creek was Bette than most. Good trip and would stay again if in the area.

Furnace Creek campground was a pleasant campsite. It was nice to have a fire ring, table, and close access to bathroom. Also so close to the visitor center and in the heart of the park.

My experiences at furnace creek campground are generally stellar. It's a lovely campground with great staff. However, camp hosts can get a little over zealous over charging an ebike at an empty site. I don't think this should be a big deal. If I could reserve a site with full hookups I would but they never seem to be available. Just turn a blind eye unless it becomes ridiculously pervasive anyway

Had a great time at the Furnace Creek campground. Good facilities there and convenient to many of the popular attractions.

Great campground, amazing views. The only bad side is that they don't have showers and the closer ones are in Stovepipe Wells (about 30min driving) and cost $10.

The facilities were well kept and the employees were very nice. It had recently rained so there were some muddy areas at our site. They offered to move us to another site but it didnt bother us. We would definitely stay here again.

Well designed campground thats very central. Sites are flat, close to fresh water and bathrooms but not too close

There isn't space for our two vehicles either despite the reservation including two vehicles.Really liked the proximity to the Visitor Center, central location, and the sinks for washing dishes.

The site is pretty exposed (i.e., basically no privacy from other campers) but otherwise as expected. Conveniently located near the main visitor center and within a reasonable driving distance from the sand dunes, Golden Canyon, Badwater Basin, Dante's View, etc., etc. Decent bathrooms. Would recommend a drive over to the Ash Meadows Wildlife Refuge, which isn't too far outside the park.

Need trash cans within the campground, when power outages occur you could extend generator hours past 7pm. Otherwise the campground was awesome.

The campground hosts were excellent with their communication; we thought they kept the campground quiet while being kind and respectful. There was a power outage while we were there and they communicated with us well to tell us what was happening. The campground was clean and people were respectful. We loved getting to see all the stars in the dark sky park, even at the campground with some lights on. We loved how much space we had to play games in our site.

Nice vis it. Ranger very helpful when we had a confusing situation. FYI 2 vehicles per site should state cant be two vans that people sleep in. I read all fine print saw the maximum length allowed, we were under. Not sure why if you had a rv or trailer and a car and someone could sleep in a Subaru or ?? but not allowed two vans. We tried to get another site online but the system would keep changing when we thought we had two saved so we went with one. The campground is not one with much private space, but the views are amazing and the stars. So dark sky means no twinkly light strings or solar lights around your site. DARK is paramount. That is what should be more of a priority to enforce. Very kind friendly employees here should be noted too.

Great location! The visitor center nearby was great to have as a resource. The resort next door has some grocery supplies but generally speaking come in with what you need and don't depend on finding it anywhere in the park.

Beautiful campground and National Park. Some roads closed due to flooding, but the rain made the desert bloom.

We stayed after the flooding and the camp conditions were much better than we expected. Perfect weather and an all around great experience.

Facility is located close to many must see sights. Visitor center is right next door. Multiple dining opportunities and small store near by. Sites are level and arranged for some seclusion depending on camping type (Tent, Van, Camper, RV). All is kept exceptionally clean. Coyote are the critters of the area, but the visitors have done well to not encourage bad behavior. It was very quite early in the evening and most keep the lighting low so people can enjoy star gazing. Park staff are fantastic.

We had heavy rains and flooding. Sections of the roads we covered with mud and rocks. Crews we out very quickly clearing the roads of debris. So cool to see the desert after a rare heavy rain.

Very central location with amazing views! We enjoyed our stay there with full hook ups!

The campground was very clean and the sites are generous. The rangers on site and at the Visitor Center are courteous and gracious. We wished the weather could have been better (not the fault of NPS!) so we could have stayed our complete stay.

It's not my favorite campground as I prefer Texas Springs (which is closed in hot weather).But if you get in the drive-in not RV spaces, it's nice enough.

Very nice campground with clean facilities. Walking distance to the visitors center and shopping.

great location for a camp ground, close to the main hikes. we went in November, good weather, stunning view from the top of the valley. Highly recommend Wildrose peak, Telescope peak ( start very early, long hike), Zabriskie/Golden canyon, Mosaic canyon, Mesquite desert dunes. One big minus: no shower available at the facility nearby, although it was supposedly available. You can get shower only by paying for the other campground, which is $34/d (!!!)

We really like, the restrooms are very clean and warm water is a plus.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
