Furnace Creek is amazing. The campground was well maintained and the bathrooms were clean. My tent site (120) was quiet and had stunning views.

Always incredibly beautiful! This was our first time here in winter and it was much busier and cold at night, but the long nights made for great star gazing and the flat winter light made everything look unreal. Stay hydrated, even if you think you are drinking enough water your probably need more even if it doesn't feel that hot.

We love Death Valley and come every year during the Thanksgiving week break. Since this is the only reservable campground, we usually stay here, but I'm not sure we will continue. There is a disturbing amount of noise coming from the golf course next door- I think the lawn gets mowed at like 6am. The campsite itself is fine, and just as with any developed campground, the experience can depend on how respectful and quiet your neighbors are.

Generally quiet. Great view of mountains and solar system.

We love Death Valley NP and enjoy the campground. But this time, a camper was playing guitar with an AMP! You couldn't even talk to someone sitting right by you as he was so loud. The next day, the camp host said he didn't hear anything, but that he didn't hear very well. We camp A LOT and all the camp hosts seem to be hard of hearing. I know being a camp host draws seniors, but they should drive around every so often to make sure that people are abiding by the rules.
