We stayed at site 015. It was great because behind it was open land. We had a great view of the sun setting behind the mountain. The entire campground was booked so I was a little worried about people being up late but everyone, at least in our area, was respectful of the quiet hours.

Great views, clean campsite, close to many popular attractions in Death Valley NP. After discovering this campground on roadsidesecrets.com, we immediately booked a site since it's close to many amazing places in the park including Badwater (the lowest place in North America), Dantes View, Zabriskie Point, Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes, Artists Palette, and more. Some sites are full hookup, others are standard no hookup sites, and there's even a loop for non-RVers. You can walk through the campground to the Furnace Creek Visitor Center too.

Nice layout, deep parking spots, fire pits, sturdy aluminum tables, spacious and plentiful restrooms and flushing toilets; great location near visitor center, great nighttime star gazing,

This is a fabulous park with large, long camp sites. I just wish there were more full hook up sites - getting one of the 18 is difficult to impossible. Even just having electric and water would be great

We love our open site and the sunsets. It was centrally located and there are convenience stores and restaurants close by.

A very well run National Park campground that actually has only common sense rules and that actually cares more about the people visiting than most National Parks do. They didn't make us feel like cattle. A great park with exceptional people working there. They actually sent out emails to people who got reservations cancelled by questionable government mandates that they were opening and advised us when we could make new reservations. Unheard of in these days...! A breath of fresh air... Thank you!

Easy to find the site and park. Felt like a secluded campground even though its right next to the resort.

We arrived after dark in the off season to stay for just one night as we were passing through. We had ben camping for a week and it was such a nice place to land. We stayed in one of the cabins and the rooms were well appointed, clean, and well laid out. Probably one of my favorite hotel rooms of all the traveling I have done over the decades. Beds were comfortable, water got hot quickly--it was perfect. Coming in at night it was a little confusing about where to go to check in. The signage was not clear and there wasn't enough of it. A simple "To Check IN" with an arrow on the main road would have been helpful. (Or was it there and we missed it?) Likewise a sign that clearly stated that an area was for bus parking only, yet that is where you drive to get to the cabins. I wouldn't want to add more lighting but the lighting could also be used a bit more strategically. Those are my only suggestions for improvement. If you are going there and checking in at night look closely at a map ahead of time. The restaurant has off season hours--call ahead if that might be a concern. The menu was adequate and the food and service was good. There is also a nice souvenir shop with a few snacks. If I could give this a rating of 6 I would. It really was wonderful.
