We had a great experience staying here for 3 nights. The camp hosts were friendly, and the bathrooms were mostly always clean. This was the first time we were able to book a reservation at Furnace Creek Campground, and we couldn't be happier that we got a site. This is the place to stay if you want a glamping experience, as there are restaurants, bars, a swimming pool, shower facilities, and a golf course nearby. We brought our own mountain e-bikes, so getting around was much more convenient without having to drive. Many roads were closed due to recent flooding, so having the e-bikes allowed us to access many of the attractions, especially Artist's Drive and Artist's Palette. Until all the roads in the park are repaired and reopened, I would highly recommend bringing your own e-bikes for the privilege of reaching inaccessible areas of the park.

Site 17 had a beautiful shade tree, and a nice flat area for a tent. However, it was very noisy and small. Also, other campers cut through it often. As for the hiking, Mosaic Canyon was beautiful spot and not far in distance. The mountain views are also good from this area.

Enjoyed the Ranger talks (3). Camp ground entry ranger especially helpful for registration.

Overall for 1st time at this campground, the experience was great. However compared to other National Parks I have visited unfortunately the restroom did not seem to get routine thorough cleaning.

Staff members were friendly and helpful. It would be helpful if garbage dumpsters were closer to campsites. I didn't realize no showers until I arrived. Oh well.....I enjoyed my stay. The folks at the Visitors Center were very helpful. I spent 4 nights. I recommend not cutting your visit too short. There are too many things you will want to see!

Furnace Creek was a "beyond Thunderdome" experience for me. I've camped literally all my life, and I have never observed such profoundly rude, antisocial and destructive-to-the-peace behaviors in my fellow campers. It seems that the new generation of campers are more interested in creating a drunken backyard BBQ experience than in enjoying the particular gifts that camping offers us. We had people walking right through our campsite at all hours because they were apparently too lazy to walk ten extra feet to get to the road instead. We had four tents, six adults, and more children camped almost on top of us, with their disco lights and their loud canned music and their louder, drunken voices polluting the environment. Other neighbors left their dog in their RV, and their generator running, while they were gone for several hours -- the dog's barking was incessant and agitating even from several campsites away. Another neighbor was apparently outraged when I shooed their unleashed dog out of my campsite before it could urinate on our tent -- they hadn't even been paying attention to the dog. We actually ended up fleeing our site and moving across the street our last night to the Sunset Campground just so we could get some peace and quiet. If this is the new flavor of Furnace Creek, I encourage people to steer clear!

Easy access to a number of hikes, clean, beautiful night sky views.

It's a shame the campsite show either full or almost full when in fact they are half empty. Enough is enough they should charge 50% for cancelations less than 2 weeks and 100% for less than 1 week instead of continuing to raise the fees (which are already exorbitant).

Beautiful park with lots to see. Fuel prices at Furnace Creek were beyond expensive! $7.50 for diesel.

Area and people were great, website (recreation.gov) was horrible this time around.

Very quiet. Close to lots of the best sites in Death Valley. Excellent dish washing facilities. Would be nice if it had showers
