Enjoyed our camping stay in Death Valley. Our particular site had a lot of tree shade . Our site required a bit of walking, so there was a bit of going back and forth as we brought some extra stuff to deal with the chilly evening. Parking sites do not necessarily correlate with the actual cluster of camp sites, so the walk was a little bit longer. Bring your own hand soap for the restroom - there is none provided. The women's restroom ran out of toilet paper on a couple of mornings, so also plan to bring some tissues with you just in case. Check in was pretty straightforward. The park was beautiful and not overly crowded when we went. Looking forward to going again in the future!

One of the best spots in this walk-in loop. Lots of trees to provide shade.

One of the best campsites in the campground. The only issue is the fire pit being too far from the picnic table.

The diversity of nature in the park is fantastic! The camp ground is nice, pretty much standard. It's clean and the people that we there were all helpful

It is pretty good camp. I was in camp 126. The only problem is that the fire spit is 20ft away from the dining table and tent setup. The wind is the biggest challenge, so make sure your tent can stand strong wind that start suddenly.

It was a little challenging for 60 plus people to hike into the tent only sites, but we did it! It was a pleasant campsite. Our only complaint was the outside generator that started early in the morning behind us (not in the campground). A good place to come in the Spring. Wouldn’t want to be here later in the year-too hot. Also could use one more bathroom to accommodate so many tent campers. It got really busy around meals and bedtime.

We were lucky to have one of the most wooded spots in the hike-in tent zone. I was afraid that being right up against airport road would be a problem, but I think I only heard one car go down that road the whole time we were there! This was a fun spot, but you have to know that the hike-in tent area is like a big group camp spot with strangers around you. We didn't mind at all, and there were a lot of fun people there that we were happy to share our time with. But be prepared for that. I was especially happy with the efforts everyone took to keep the lights low at night. It made it so much easier to see the amazing starry canvas overhead! And the views across the valley in the morning and evening were magical!
