The site was perfect, quiet, plenty of space. Restrooms were clean, trash dumpsters readily available. Walking around the campground was very nice, well paved walking areas, close to the visitor center which was excellent to see, a must!

Best place to get away for peace and quiet. Location and campground are great and centrally located to everything. This is one of our favorite places!

The one problem that this camp ground has deals with sewage. I have been camping here for over 25 years and if its not backed up toilets, its plugged dump station or worse (this year) a sewage spill. I do not know the answer to the problem, but it needs to be fixed.

Furnace Creek is a great central location from which to explore Death Valley NP. No issues with the RV spots. We had an electrical hookup which was convenient. Make sure you gas up before you get to the park. Fuel is very expensive in the valley.

Furnace campground was located in the midst of areas to see and explore. From Sand dunes to Badwater Basin to Artist Pallate, from Zabriskie Pt to Ubehebe crater.

We stayed at a site offering full services and we extended and stayed at a site w/o services. Both had their charm.

Being close to the great visitor center and the ranch was fun.

Did I say that the geology and erosion was outrageous!

Overall good experience. Glad we were able to stay at Furnace Creek. I do wish that there were showers in the bathrooms.

The campsite behind us had their fire pit 10steps from our trailer and the fire smoked us out 4 nights it was dark skies and we had to go in and close the window s 4-5 hours of smoke they would not put it out we had to leave early and diden’t get a refund. The gig said they have to send a check after I verify my address but it doesn’t work . No refund . It was terrible not going again . It’s almost May I’ve been trying to get the refund silence February

Truly enjoyed our first time visit. Very nice clean park. Got to see some amazing views. Hope to come back again. Wish the NP was more dog friendly as many of us travel with our pets but understand why. There's several areas we'd like to see next time. Thank you for keeping such a nice park.
