Both water filling stations were out of order, can't be a coincidence that they both broke at the same time. Too many people hijacking sites and getting away with it because there is no enforcement of rules in the campground. The Oasis portion at Furnace Creek gets worse every year, less available hours to eat, the ice cream shop is woefully understaffed, at least the workers are friendly and work hard. The Wildrose Tavern was awful, slow to get meals and then they were cold. I asked our waitstaff what really was happening that night and he stated they only had 1 oven could only cook 1 meal at a time. The saloon has discontinued lunch and the buffet was awful. Protesters protesting against part time staff being laid off holding the American flag upside down (in a National Park of all places). What used to be a beautiful place is getting very sad.

We stayed two nights from Dec 23-25, 2023 at campsite #26 and were happy with our experience. The campground is in a relative central location, not far from all the places that we planned to visit within the park. Our campsite is close to the restroom which has water, flush toilet and no lighting. Drinking water is also availabe nearby. We almost missed the campground the first night though since it was really dark in the park without cell reception so no Google map. Highly recommend to download the map before making the trip.
Solar Panels work great since there is no electricity.
Nice shade tree near picnic table and bathrooms were close and clean.

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
