The campground overall is wonderful. We recommend for Eureka Site 13 it be for tents. Trying to get our pop-up trailer into the site was very difficult and when we pulled out we had to go back the direction we came in. It is a wonderful site, spacious and close to restrooms. We will be returning to McWilliams campground in the future.

Always enjoy my time at McWilliams. Site, firepit, and grill were all clean. This particular site (71) is close to the main road but has few nearby neighbors and nice views of both Lee Peak and the Mummy cliffs.

I love this campground so much and the hosts are very nice. Unfortunately the last 3 times I have camped here the other quests have been extremely inconsiderate. One camper ran their generator all night long, another family next to us talked by the fire past 11pm and then there teens started yelling and screaming and the parents didnt quite them down. After that another camper started chopping wood after 11pm. All these things happened well after curfew. Who endorses the rules after curfew?

We had a great, safe, and wonderful time! We were very appreciative for an informative and friendly camp host who helped us through the check in process as first-time campers. Bathrooms were clean, and you could hear a pin drop at night! What a reprieve from the desert heat.

Beautiful campsite with plenty of room and well spaced apart. The only thing we had a problem with was the noisy neighbors across from us running their generator all day and well into quiet hours. The camp host was not on site both nights and our last day he showed up and we reported it to him. He went to talk to them and they turned to be long lost friends and hugs all around. He then talked to them about it and pointed us out as the ones who complained. Glad it was our last night up there. Weather was nice but quite windy this weekend. We will return but hope to have more considerate neighbors.

75 was the best spot. The campgrounds are lovely. The bathroom was maintained. But is the camp host ever on duty?

I went during the week with a few friends. The site was very quiet and peaceful. There are hikes within walking distance! We booked the site ahead but we saw a lot of open first come first serve spots available! Great for kids and pets!

Excellent campground to get a reprieve from the Vegas heat.

We loved our spot but our neighbors were extremely loud all night even though quiet hours start at 10pm. Because of them, we were unable to fall asleep until past midnight when they were finally quiet. The toilets were overflowing on our last day because all of the water at the campground was shut off. Thankfully, we were leaving so we didnt have to worry about it but it was not fun going to the bathroom in the morning. Besides those issues we enjoyed our time in nature and the staff was friendly.

I had booked #31 be cause it was listed as shaded with my dog; definitely was not shaded besides until 7:30 am and again after 5:30 pm. Had to leave early due to my dog being overheated due to false advertising of shaded in this spot

It was our first time in this campsite, and we really enjoyed it, we hope to be back soon.

Campsite was tight based on the listed size. The bathrooms havent been cleaned in a long time very nasty. With the exception of the water spicket by us worked but many others were not working.

This and neighboring spots sites are great, beautiful view, everything needed is around (the wood is available too).

I spend 9 days every year tent camping at McWilliams. This is the first year I have not had a great experience. This year, the Camp Host was never around and the bathrooms were always out of toilet paper and filled with garbage. Half the water spigots were turned off and then 6 days into my camp, they shut off the toilets nearest my campsite. Campsite boundaries are not defined and I had people constantly walking through my campsite thinking it was a shortcut. Several nights there were people playing loud music until after midnight and no one said anything.

They closed the bathrooms and turned off all water within an hour of arriving. They didnt unlock the bathrooms and turned on the water until 13 hours later. It was very inconvenient and made me wonder what exactly we are paying for.There was no enforcement of noise curfew and people were screaming/partying until about 1am. I have never experienced such a poorly run campground.Fire ring and campsite was clean upon arrival. There is no shade cover over table so you must bring your own.

Loved this campsite! Close to two bathrooms and a water faucet is right across the road. Lots of trees, but they dont really provide much shade in the middle of the day so we used our pop-up canopy.

Great family time peaceful only issue there was no water from spouts only in restroom sinks. Otherwise fantastic time host always amazing!

Had to kick 2 people out of our reserved spot. We arrived right at check-in. Was told by camp host to expect them to be there. This should have been handled by them.
@JamesP3218459 · Camped on Jul 3, 2025 at Campsite #73
It was beautiful there this time of year, the camp hosts were very attentive and informative. The water was off in our area due to leak in the system which would have been nice to be informed of ahead of time so we could have packed more in. Other than that, it was a great experience
@JanetL7005035 · Camped on Jul 3, 2025 at Campsite #7
Beautiful campground! While there are no hook-ups at each site there are bathrooms with running water/flush toilets.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
