Our family has stayed at this campground a few times in the last few years. This last trip we saw wild horses as we entered the campground, you cant beat that.

Living in Vegas, we absolutely love this campground. The sites are clean and usually offer some shade. We really liked the layout of this site. Only wish there had been a bathroom located a bit closer.

Great for family camping experience. Restrooms were in good condition, and having access to water was a great feature.

As a female solo traveler/camper I felt very safe. The park team members ride around ,on a regular basis, keeping the park spotless. The rest rooms were clean and well stocked without bad odor. The water dispensers were turned off or not working so fill up your water containers before hand. There's NO internet signal whatsoever. Great trails near by and Lee Canyon Ski Resort is just around the corner with great food and beer. Highly recommend!

Campsites are cheaper if you take a chance on first come first serve availability. Also, the online map doesnt match the campground.

Email verbiage to bring only local firewood made me think there was a convenient place to purchase there as I wanted to support this information. Upon arriving I discovered there was none. When I went to the camp guide for directions he was beyond rude - as I was there for my childs birthday and it was a very cold night. The entire unit smelled like marijuana... which wasnt too big of a problem. However, when he opened the door he said what?! And immediately made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I drove an hour back into town as he laughed and told me nothing was available and then said he couldnt help me and shut the door. I purchased a reservation for two nights and left immediately the next morning. I have never had someone be so unapproachable, rude and discourteous - especially when there was no negative behavior on my part. I will not be back to this particular site.
