Nice campground. Needs to be a better way to get water at the sites. Hauling water from Vegas is not a great option. Lee Canyon is a great place to go visit.

Site 015 was pretty good. Near the bathrooms and have a little distance from other camps. Pretty empty on the lower loop when I went.Without any breeze, one night the smoke was pretty bad, it rolls down from the upper camps. From 015 you can hike up a ravine which is nice.

Our camping experience was good but not great this time at McWilliams. There were more vehicle traffic and music was blasting until late hours. Even a tour bus showed up! And not a single ranger seen to control the chaos. We are not so happy this time. The campsite is getting to be ghetto and it is sad cause it is closest to home.

Great experience at McWilliams, cold that far up but worth it as the camp grounds were clean, well managed and overall lovely. We now know we will always have a place to go in Nevada. Side note closest bathroom was closed this was not too pleasant as we were a distance away from the other bathrooms that were open but no matter I will assume this will be resolved.

I had only booked one night here in September 2022, because we were just passing through. However, the next time that we are in this area, we will be staying a few more nights. The camp sites are large and clean, have a grill, a cooking podium for a portable stove, a fire pit and a nice picnic table. We stayed in site number 15. The scenery is beautiful and you just might see wild horses!!! It was very peaceful here. I am not sure what it is like when it is at capacity, but at this time of the year, there were only a few other campers and it was quite nice.

Very nice campground! Excellent spots for RV's. Would be even better if they had hookups but its ok if you're just staying one or two nights. Great place to escape the summer heat of Las Vegas. Great hiking trails and very peaceful at night.

We were at site 15, which is a great site in it's set-up and a more private area for our tent but the drawback was that the toilets were constantly being used and there is no way it all other campers. The toilets near the site seem to be used as public toilets for anyone who comes up to McWilliams. We love camping at McWilliams but I do not recommend site 15 or any of the sites near it if you can help it.

Site #15: Clean campsites, clean and flushable toilets, easy access to water, quiet and relaxing area. Overall awesome experience with my family. No cell service which isnt necessarily a bad thing but just plan accordingly beforehand.

This is a beautiful place with level RV pads and the restrooms are well maintained and cleaned. There is no cellular service; but, this place will be one we return to again and again.

Facilities are clean and plentiful. The sites are very close to each other, but we were able to find one that had the slightest bit of seclusion.
