I booked twice in December and couldnt make it either time due to last minute work priorities and it was too late for a refund. But too a good cause I suppose.

We stayed in Loop A which has a nice layout, lots of trees (no tall rigs allowed) and an adjacent nature trail. An easy walk to the gorgeous, mostly empty beach. Great beach sunsets. We also walked the beach to Langdon Battery and back.The bath house was really pretty battered, BUT they are redoing all the bath houses and were very clear about that. we went to look at one of the redone ones on another loop. If they are all redone to that level it will be very nice once completed. There was plentiful hot water in the showers.The Florida Scenic Trail links both camping areas and the fort. Easy bike ride to the fort and environs. Fort has a decent gift shop. Guided tour was very interesting and not too long. Bring what youll need for supplies with you its a long slow drive back to civilization!. But thats part of the appeal.

The new restroom renovations in the "D" loop are great! We are looking forward to the "A" loop renovation as they are in bad shape. Thanks for moving forward on these improvements.

What a beautiful and quiet place to spend some time in December. Truly a rare spot to camp on the Gulf.

Spent a wonderful week at fort pickins Fla. Stayed in a loop with water and electricity tent camping with family in four sites. This place is like paradise for tent camping. Wonderful temps with cold mornings and sunny days except for one rainy day. Hosts were super friendly and helpful.

Gulf of America was a little too cold. All else was excellent, trails for biking and walking.

Love the beach, right across the road!

Beautiful beaches, and the park staff takes great care of the facilities. The fishing pier is very nice, and the boardwalks are very convenient for patrons. Unfortunately, the RV spots are too short and do not leave enough room to park your truck. The entire island has a fit if your truck tire touches a blade of grass or dirt. The camping spots should be extended in length, or a gravel or asphalt parking pad should be added adjacent to each camper spot to facilitate a better user experience for Patrons who pay to camp there.

I wish the shower rooms are cleaner and wish there is a trash can in men's restroom.

Very clean and accessible campground. Some sites are very short with height restrictions - make sure you can fit in the site you are reserving!

A must go place if you are visiting Pensacola. The campground is clean & well kept. The ocean side beach is beautiful. The bay side beach is not as pristine however our pup loved walking around on that beach. Dogs were not allowed on the ocean side. Fort Pickens was interesting & educational.The best part was seeing the Blue Angels fly overhead at the campground. It was really incredible!

Nice and quiet campground. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Close to Pensacola and plenty of beach. Peg Leg Pete's was an excellent restaurant.

Did not like one of the camp hosts. The others were nice but one was rude/borderline unprofessional.

One of the few open natural seashore environments unobstructed by hotels, high rise condominiums, amusement parks, etc on the Gulf coast. Significant historical interest.

Loved the nature trails

My opinion might be influenced by the fact that the weather at home was snowy and 30 versus nearly 70 at Fort Pickens but my whole experience was great. The camp ground was a (maybe) 5 minute walk from the beach and the beach was beautiful. The campground and restrooms were well maintained and the showers were spacious and had both warm water and warm temperatures. I find that its usually one or the other and not both. I would definitely camp at Fort Pickens again!

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
