Bathroom on B loop under construction. Bathroom on E loop poorly maintained and cleaned.

I've traveled quite extensively over my life, but Fort Pickens is my second favorite place of all, with home being 1st. 40 years of visiting with family and friends. 9 hr drive but well worth it..

We love this camp ground so much and have been going once a year for over 10 years. It is wonderful that they have the tent camping with nice shade. I would highly recommend it.

Beautiful sand and ocean solng. Greeted the first morning by a pair of cardinals. Clean, quiet and relacing!

Ive bee camping here even before the campgrounds were built, it used to be a grassy field with one shower and one toilet. The historical fort is to be walked along the wall, experience all by exploring every corner and do not miss to fill up your water bottles as it was done back in the days! Campground is fantastic as it offers hiking trails and open spaces to ride bicycles, jog and spend time away from crowds. The water flow in the showers is meager. This could be improved. The camp sites along the outer loops provide nice shade featuring mature trees that shelter birds. This place never disappoints. Even it is occupied to the limit just about every time I visit, both days and nights are usually amazingly quiet. The beach is a decent walk away but worth the effort because you will be admiring the variety of vegetation, birds and insects along the boardwalk and give your mind space to ponder! So please do not consider the walk to the beach to be a burden, it is all worthwhile! I am very grateful for this place, cant wait to go back . I always make new friends here. Happy camping!

Good facilities. The place could use additional bathrooms/ shower and a sink of dish washing. I felt a bit micromanage by the camp management team that seem to always have a complaint about the littlest things such as the direction I parked my car to offload my gear.

Decent toilets and showers. Loved the boardwalk to the beach just across the entrance to the campsites. It was perfect for a sunset stroll, not too far from camp and not too long. All the staff we came across were great. The drive in and out was nice and worth the long road in.

Staff was very nice and camp hosts were always around if you needed something. Bathrooms needs some cleaning and several toilets didn’t work during our stay.
