I would have given this campground stars, but the bathrooms and showers were never cleaned the 4 nights I visited. Fort Pickens trail/Florida scenic trail is nearby. Also a short drive to Pickens. Beach access is nearby. Didnt have any bug issues. Pensacola beach restaurants and shops are about a 15 minute drive.

It was a great experience. The campground and bathrooms was clean. The beaches and trails were beautiful. My family found the civil war era fort to be incredibly interesting. Will certainly be back.

We loved Fort Pickens Campground Loop B. Hot Showers at the campground included. Nice walk to the fort from Loop B. Nice walk to the beach from Loop B. 15 min stunning drive to town for dinner.

I had a non-electric camping spot in B. I brought my hair blow dryer just in case the bathroom had an outlet. It did!! Beautiful camping area! Clean bathrooms and showers!

Great place to walk along the beach. Don't forget about the interior trail that takes you through wetlands, prairies, and forests.

I love Fort Picken's campground . Its a beautiful Park but the Campground is not what it used to be. 1st ,they have closed and never reopened Campground store ( yeah its been a good minute) , now there is no more option to have an electric outlet , unless you get an expansive RV spot. To be under the tent in super hot and moist conditions is what the term "roughing it " describes . It feels like they've given up on this camp . they Just keep the Loop A real nice and keep downgrading the rest of the campground . I have to go to hotel next time, but the camp no longer makes sense unless you have RV or battery/equipment

Campsite and restrooms were clean and we'll maintained. The fort was fascinating and the beach was pristine. The tent campsites were mostly unoccupied during the week in February, so we really felt like we had the place to ourselves.

Wonderful and relatively clean campsite. Campsite store closed (I would assume due to funding) so had to go to town for supplies as simple as ice. The natural beauty of the unkempt beach was stunning, and I happened to be there during the Monarch migration, and the Blue Angles practice so, an added bonus. The National park staff was friendly and informative. and overall I would comeback again

The campground location and space was nice. The problem was there were very loud people after the curfew hours! It was awful. We were very disappointed with how rude people were but that there was no reinforcement of the curfew hours!
