Fort Pickens is excellent National Park. Beautiful beach and a lot to do at downtown, naval base and Pensacola Beach. The park is well maintained and if have more trees for shadows will be excellent. As other parks, the people who cleans the bathroom need more close supervision because there not doing good job.

Wish we could spend more than 2 weeks a year here. Love location, set up and staff. After staying several times over the years you understand most of the experience is under control of the weather. Be prepared and understand low lying area. The bath houses are old and built when Americans were less whiny and needy. Concrete block with no ac. But work to clean off all the days fun. Though the accessibility to some of the best beach in the world makes it all worth it. Staff takes care of grounds well and never had bad person hosting or ranger.

The location right at the beach and near Pensacola is great. Some of the sites have partial shade. A negative would be that the bathrooms have little ventilation and no a/c. During our trip in May it was hot and the bathrooms were quite toasty inside.

I had never been and the fort is amazing. Do not miss it! Great campground as well. Fire pits and spots were clean. Bathrooms are a bit dated but get the job done and clean. I enjoyed having access to a dish washing sink instead of using my campers tiny one!

Whats not to like. Great beaches. Clean facility. It ranks first on our list of national park campgrounds. Remember once you get your toes in the gulf youll throw rocks at the Atlantic. Just wish it was closer to Asheville.

First camping trip here in a trailer and it was the best ever. Stayed in Loop A and the showers and toilets were so clean. Staff was friendly and loop was so quiet at night.

I loved your rv park I have a 41 foot fifth wheel Please reconsider your ridiculous plan to reduce mandatory length to 35 feet. U r letting your lack of the rv experience overcome your good judgement. Sincerely William l dunford

It's a great park. The camping loops are right across from boardwalk to the beach. Beach is quiet. Fishing is great on ocean side and also in the bay side. The Fort is great too. U can watch the blue angels practice from the Fort. Don't forget eating at Peg Leg Pete's and Flounders is a must.

This was our first time visiting and we absolutely loved our stay! Beautiful scenery and history everywhere. We can NOT wait to come back! The park staff was friendly and very respectful. This has become our favorite place and will be our summer destination location.

The Fort was impressive and exploring it was a neat experience. The grounds are well maintained and takes you back in time.

Loop A was our camping spot. We Ellie’s the fact that the boardwalk to the beach was right at the entrance to our loop. It made the trek to the beach easy and rather enjoyable. We loved our hikes. We explored the areas behind our campsite and found interesting plants and critters. It was a great visit!

Wow! What a beautiful park! Horrible staff! Not worth going. The campground host Tim thinks he owns the park and will ruin your experience. We booked 9 nights with 4 different campsites because of the stupid online booking system. We stayed 3 nights at the first site in loop A which was a great experience! Then we moved to loop C we checked out at 11 and waited until after 12 when the previous people in our site left. We leveled got unhooked and thats when Tim came rolling up to our site YELLING in front of my little children telling us we had to leave and come back at 2. He said he had to clean the site so we hooked backed up pulled out and watched him walk in our site for less than 1 minute before he was done. He scared my poor little girl so bad we ended up leaving the campground. DO NOT STAY IN LOOP C STAY AWAY FROM TIM UNTIL HE IS REPLACED!!

So glad recycling has come to Ft Pickens. Looking forward to dune crossovers being fixed. Wish they were Ranger led tours.
