Nice campground overall. Showers and bathrooms are old, dirty and outdated

Great pitches and walking distance to the beach. However, the cleanliness of the toilets is very ordinary. The showers are terrible.

It's quiet and the environment is good. I like this place. I just wish the shower room was fixed. No hangers to hang clothes.

Campground hosts rude. Enforced rules with anyone who didn’t drink and party with them. Those who did had no rules. People who worked gates and check-in were great.

The park is in a beautiful location near the gulf coast beaches. Sites have water and electric. Most sites are level.

We love staying here. Depending on what loop you are in, the amount of slips/people is a little overwhelming, but once you settle in, everyone seems to have to same relaxed feeling- its well organized (there are always excellent camp hosts), and quiet times are respected. The proximity to the beach, and the ability to hike/run/bike on the island's trails to the many beach access points and fort are unique and amazing. Highly recommend!

ADA sites unavailable, not enough. Assigned site electrical box more than prescribed 15 feet - my 25 foot cord was too short. Electrical box too high for this 5 foot disabled woman to comfortably reach. Handicap shower disgusting. Shower head too high to reach from seated position. Shower curtain needed to keep mobility scooter from getting wet.

We enjoyed our stay at Fork Pickens very much. We will definitely be back. The campsite was pretty, level, and clean. The restrooms and showers were clean. There was a nice utility tub in which to do dishes. On one side of the campground was one body of water, on the other, the Gulf of Mexico, both an easy walk. The beaches were beautiful but there were also walks to the Fort and through the dunes. We saw an armadillo and lots of birds. There are these other structures, "batteries," which can be pretty hideous, if you ask me, but some people like to explore them. We went on one of the less hideous ones, Battery Worth, and it was interesting. The fort was interesting.

Lovely special campground as it is totally unadulterated beaches and dunes thought it was beautiful and the campground was nice and clean. check-in was easy, and the fort was interesting but I thought the coastal beaches were gorgeous!

The Rangers were nice to deal with and very informative. The camping hosts were idiots. Did not follow what the Rangers told them to do. Just so poorly trained. Glad most of the reservations are done on line and then at the Ranger’s registration house.

The campground is clean, quiet and very convenient to the beach and Pensacola activities. It’s especially convenient because the facility has laundry available, as well as multiple clean and spacious restrooms. This was my third visit and I’ll be back again!
