Miles of beautiful beach. Clean and quiet well maintained campground. Extremely friendly National Park Service people. Nice tree lined walk to the historic Fort Pickens.

We had a good time but we had to leave early because of a mandatory evacuation due to weather. I was never reimbursed for the two days I did not stay.

Fort Pickens is a very well managed campground. We enjoyed our 8 day stay very much! Upon arrival, the friendly staff helped us obtain a senior discount! One suggestion is to sell ice. We had to go into town every couple of days for ice, a waste of time and resources. Wonderful white sand beaches stretch for miles and are easily accessible. Loved it, will definitely return!

The campground was quiet, and restrooms were very clean. The self-guided walking tour of the fort was quite interesting. Recommended!

Large Clean bathrooms. Plenty of places to park to get to the beach. Some were deserted.

The rangers were very helpful. The beach is outstanding. If you qualify for a Senior Pass, buy it for $20 and get 1/2 off campground fees. Good deal.

Our site was hard to back into the way the trees were positioned, after we got parked life was good. And the bathrooms are nice and clean.

Plan to be away from services. You are not back woods camping, but not near stores, etc. That is good and at times annoying.However, the park is wonderful; secluded, quiet, flat for walking and riding, and near the beach.
