This was the absolute worst spot in the camp. Surrounded by others. All sand and gravel as well. No grass.

We had a great site to park our camper on, lucky for us our camper and truck was able to fit the site. We never used the bathhouse. The only problem we had was it was so far from the main gate and the speed limit was 25.

I love this place and was so happy to have the opportunity to visit again! Reservation system was very good. The alerts feature enabled me to consolidate 5 consecutive reservations for different sites into 5 reservations for the same site! Hosts and staff were friendly and very helpful.

Campground is nice, but the bathroom and showers suck, despite the signs that say they've just been improved thanks to your dollars!

Fabulous location. Across the street from one of the most beautiful white sand beaches ever. Go at sunset to catch the colors. Wonderful walking trails right from the campground. Big rig friendly. We will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our stay. There is a lot to explore and the hiking trails from our campsite were great for seeing the sites.

We have been here five times. This was the first year without any road repairs going on from storm damage and it was great to bike on Fort Pickens Road within the Park and then pick up the bike trail in Pensacola Beach. The ferry is also running for the first time in years and that is great too, along with the usual beach walks, exploring Fort Pickens and watching the Blue Angels practice.

Fort Pickens RV Campground in the National Seashore Park is a little remote but a great location. Biggest problem is that the shower and lavatory facilities are not good and need to be overhauled.

Great campground. Stayed a week. Great fort tour. Good bike riding. Beautiful beaches. Parasailing was fun. Campsites barely large enough for campers + vehicles. Couldnt unload vehicle without temporarily putting 2 wheels on the grass. Campground host was extremely rude about it.

Been going to fort pickens campground every year since 1991 - my husband has gone since 1975 - we have always considered it home. But this year they put so many restrictions and new enforcements on campers etc that it felt like a strange place. And to be totally honest, we felt more like a nuisance than the family atmosphere we have always enjoyed. We didnt even feel like a welcomed guest, very disappointed and dissatisfied with the way things have changed. Hoping things go back to normal soon because we sure love that area and hate to lose our home..

Love this park, but hoping the existing asphalt pads for parking your camper,& tow vehicles are soon to be extended. Looks like th majority of them could be lengthened by quite a bit!

This was our second visit to Fort Pickens. Wonderful campground.

I was surprised at the number of Bald Eagles on the island. Viewing was especially good on the north side of the island on the beach directly north of site E4. I saw three mature eagles and one younger one that still had the brown feathers on its head. There is a narrow pathway behind E4 that leads to the beach where the eagles perch in the trees and keep a watch on the bay. We also discovered a Great Blue Heron rookery on the walking/biking path just west of Battery Worth. There must have been at least 20-30 herons in the treetops in January 2022.

Great location. Camp ground needs a little more maintenance with grass cutting and exhaust fans in the showers. Lots to explore and hike to. Great for riding bikes.
