Great place to stay

We stayed in Loop C at Fort Pickens for 5 nights, and it was absolutely perfect. The campground was clean, quiet, and very well-maintained. If you have a bicycle, its the perfect place to ride along the smooth roads and take in the stunning views of the white sand beaches. We definitely plan to come back!

Beautiful campground.

Originally booked for site A-16. There was a low hanging tree branch that made this site unacceptable for a 5th wheel with an air conditioner on top. Low hanging tree branch could be a hazard and should be maintained. . Moved into site C-45, perfect .

Beautiful beaches, American history and a quiet and clean campground. We will be back!

Amazing campground location with awesome sights to explore and great trails! Fort Pickens was incredible and so were the beaches in the area! I especially loved Langdon beach. We were even surprised by a Blue Angels show which we could see from the campground! Our campsite was mediocre as there is no privacy between sites, our fire pit was in disrepair, and our table was partially melted. We couldn't figure out how to purchase wood for a campfire, but we were only there 2 nights so it wasn't a big issue. The bathrooms were great and very clean. Despite some of the issues at the campsite, I would still definitely come here again because you can't beat the location and surrounding activities!

The camp host that was on duty was rude and could use some training on how to communicate with guests. It wasnt very inviting to the Fort for the first thing you see is a radar being used. We didnt get stopped but that sure doesnt make you feel welcomeI also tried to contact the office trying 3 different numbers but no one answered only recordings and this was around 3:30- 4:00 pm. This was a bit ridiculous.

Nice campground, good campsite, pleasant campground neighbors, absolutely horrible "hosts". Unfortunately, the hosts were rude and unfriendly. They were more like disgruntled rent- a- cops than hosts. We left 2 days early due to their offensive behavior and constant nitpicking.

Stayed 4 nights in January. The park employees made my stay very enjoyable.

Overall we had a good time. The beaches are amazing and the fort was still very cool. Although we missed the night lantern tours and day tours. We hadn’t been back since the hurricane took out the trees, so that was kind of a shock. We had to stay in the camper pretty much the entire middle of the day with the young kids because there was no shade. But we understand that issue.

Excellent experience! We really enjoyed the short hikes to both the Gulf and bayside beaches. The restrooms were kept clean and well supplied. The only minor complaints are that there were extremely pesky flying insects of some kind along the dog-walk path and that our firepit ring was severely rusted out and in need of replacement.

Fort Pickens always provides a quiet place to camp and enjoy nature. The walkways and drives are nicely paved. And the trails good for biking. If you want to have maximum relaxation and least distance to travel— go to Fort Pickens to camp! It’s an all in one place!!

Spaces are well spaced and relatively level. One area in C Loop backs up to a grassland which provides even more privacy. The park is clean and a great place to walk. It is close to beaches if that's your thing. Pretty drive getting back to the campground. Would definitely stay there again.

The Bath house needs improvement. Had very cold air blowing through the room. It needs heat in the winter. The showers need some kind a curtain because when you get dressed you get your clothes all wet. And they need heat in it to.
