The only complaint that I have is regarding the length and width of the pad. I did check for my trailer and van being too long but it seems something was off by several feet which caused me to park my van in the overflow area. Not a big deal. The showers and restrooms were clean and working great! The dump station was functional, and the site was otherwise as expected. The fort itself was awesome! Give yourself about a day to experience the fort and the batteries! Dont forget to see the National Naval Museum too! Its free!

In some ways I would like to lie and say things were horrible so that less people try and book the campground. Its not easy getting open summer dates here. But I cant lie we love this park and campground. Never an issue if you just read the site driveway size and keep your stuff within allowed limits. The trouble happens when folks think the park will adjust the rules for those that that dont play by the rules. As for bathrooms and showers. Yes its old block house with toilets and showers in hot humid sandy environment with no AC. If you are expecting temperature control bath house. Its not here yet. Which I love cause it may help keep it at least able to get an A loop site in summer. Hosts and rangers have always been nice and professional. Make sure to see blue angels practicing from the flight line at the museum.

The driveway is short but could have been longer if the undergrowth could have been trimmed back. A02. Had trouble keeping our vehicle out of the road. Easy access to beach. The best beach for littles is near the Ft Pickens ferry on the bay

What a wonderful location right on the beautiful white sand beach. Nice bike/hiking trail from the camp ground to Fort Pickens. Watch for the dolphins swimming right from the campground beach entrance.

This campground is the best, the people are great and you couldn't ask for a closer to the beach location. We go EVERY year. We can't wait to get there each year.

Beautiful site with direct access to the beach. Laundry room is convenient with pay range available so no need to bring coins. There is also a huge sink to do the dishes.

Bathroom are spacious, clean and water is hot and has good pressure.

My drawbacks: No playground, so bring toys, bikes, scooters or beach supply if you plan to travel with small kids. Also, weather is very unpredictable, so maybe be sure to be well equipped to face storms.

Park is always clean and well attended. The beach may be the nicest on the Emerald Coast—natural and no condos. Recommend the A Loop but note height clearances for sites.

We had a wonderful time at Fort Pickens. The water was beautiful. The campground was very nice. The bath houses were simple but all you need. We can't wait to go back!

What a beautiful area. The campground was well kept and showers always clean. Would highly recommend ??. See the ruins of Ft. Pickens, lots of history there.

I really don't know why you are asking me to rate this... I didn't get to go because the park cancelled my reservation and ruined my plans!! so 1 star only because I couldn't pick 0... Thanks for the reminder about my plans of camping at the beach being cancelled.
