Campground clings to a hill side so trying to level or travel trailer was a challenge. Great location for exploring Sequoia. Friendly rangers were helpful sources of information.

We stayed in site 38. I have a 27 foot Airstream. The last 3.5 miles on General's highway to Potwisha is tight but if you are an experienced hauler not a big deal. The camp is tight to drive through but easily workable. Sites are not level and I had to raise one side 8 inches. Many sites are much smaller and some more level. Nice quiet comfortable campground. I suspect the weekends are bit crazy in the summer. We were there end of April so quiet during the week and more showed up on the weekend but mostly quiet.

Nice campsites though the sites could be more level. Great interactive with rangers. With the cost of NPS road maintenance and traffic, a shuttle service should operate year-round between visitor centers on Grants Highway. Infact, it should only be shuttle service and no cars. I was unable to see the trees because my camper was two feet two long. The length restriction was not easily seen on the website or in the newspaper. A year round shuttle would be a very cost-effective and environmentally friendly way to manage traffic and improve visitor experience.

I enjoyed the location which is close to marble falls trail head. The campsite itself had flat ground for our large tent. I loved the trees at the campsite that allowed us to hang a hammock. The bathrooms were clean and the rangers that came to check in on us out were friendly and helpful.

Site was ok and required minimal leveling. Bathrooms were clean.

Small campground with paved sites tucked away in the mountain. Definately allowed us to be close to the trees, hikes and museum we wanted to see without having to leave the park. The bathrooms were also very clean.

Clean! Mostly flat tent area. Bathrooms were decent and stocked. Bear box was helpful. Water available at bathrooms and bring your own firewood, its hard to find within the park.

Nicely flat spots for 2 tents. Nothing better than listening to the river as you're falling asleep.

Very clean campground and dumping station, and the dumping station is conveniently across the road from the campground (not too far, not too close). Well equipped with the standard stuff - tables, fire pits, grills, bear boxes, and bathrooms (no showers, but showers available deeper in the park). The only thing that could be improved is a bit of tree and bush trimming - pretty much every trailer or RV coming through was dragging on small growth (no large branches that would damage anything, just surface scratches). This is an awesome home base for your time in the parks.

Campsite large parking space, clean flushing bathroom, large green area for tent(grass was too tall, it would be better if it was cut) and it has a sink to wash dishes near the bathroom. Campsite located inside the park. No shower. Campsite is about 40 minutes drive to general sherman and other hike trails. Overall campsite is well kept.

great campsite.

There was no one responsible got the Place. The toilets more than rudimentary, the underground unsuitable for a tent weeds all over the place not cut. Its the worst campsite in the us Ive ever been. Dont recommend it for a tent and a stay longer than absolutely necessary.

The reservation system and really the entire process online was very easy and intuitive. Navigation was easy and the staff at the visitor center were also super helpful.

Returning to Potwisha after so many years was nostalgic. Our campsite was perfectly nestled near trees and was conveniently private. It was spacious and had enough shade. We loved being able to hear the running river near by and be at close range to visit the river. The restrooms were not too far and were kept extremely clean. That was a bonus!

#14 is flat and easy to park an RV.

It was difficult leveling this site. It was very close to the bathroom.

We stayed on site #16 one night and #31 another night. #16 was awesome and much more private. #31 was close to the bathroom but difficult leveling.

We spent two nights in the campground. We really appreciated the restrooms and running fresh water. The camp sites are pretty close together. We had the unfortunate experience of having noisy campers in the site next to ours. These people played music, had lights strung up, and smoked marijuana, all of which, in our opinion, is not why people come out camping. The rangers were fantastic! Very helpful and friendly.

Site 13 severely uneven - needed to come up 10in on one side. Tried leveling our 24 trailer and just couldnt do it. Left for another campground. Spot was beautiful with awesome space behind - just could find level.

Great campsite! The Marble Falls trail going out of the campground is a must-do!

Great spot in Fall and Spring to see the park. Still a 25 minute drive on beautiful windy mountain road to got to the big trees. Our spot could have been more level otherwise great experience.

This is a smallish, sweet little campground with sites that are both more private and others in the middle of it all. The campground is quiet with plenty of shaded sites. Bathrooms and campsites were clean. Bear Boxes could use some WD40 on the doors. I camped there in late February and again in mid-March, and was able to get up to the trees during the March visit.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.
