Very good tent camping everywhere. No showers but clean bathrooms with flush toilets. High bear activity in the area so just be clean.

Lovely campground with flush toilets and bear boxes. The boxes are great, big enough to fit a medium sized yeti. Easy drive up to the Sherman tree along generals highway. The trail heat at the campground has a nice rest home for the kiddos with waterfalls and a longer more strenuous one with numerous switchbacks and lots of elevation gain for more experienced hikers.

All out leveling blocks couldnt make #5 spot level. Brush and trees all needed serious trimming. The bathrooms were clean with normal flushing toilets though.

Great spot

Tiny spot, very little space for a tent.

Very lovely campground, quiet and friendly, the proximity with the river is a big plus - especially as there are no showers, I thoroughly enjoyed a refreshing dip after doing the hike to the Marble Falls which starts at this campground. I saw many animals: a vole, ground squirrels, mule deer passing by... Would totally come back.

Beautiful setting, close to water, could hear creek running while drifting off to sleep. Late September. We drove up to the redwoods groves during the day where it was cool temps, and I was glad to come back to the warm foothills for the night.

Everything about the campsite was as described. It did the job and we had a great time. Only problems were the wasps (bring repellent!) and that there was no warning that we couldn't use the fire pits online so we brought firewood, only to find out we can't use it. Fun time, lots of wildlife on the campgrounds.

Quiet area. Sites smaller but well spaced with some tight curves on the road. Signage to the site location could be better. Convenient to the park. Would stay here again

The campsite was not at all as described on the website. Sites are very close together and not level. The campground is very far from where the "action is" in the National Park. Not a very good commute from the campground.

Picture on rec.gov was deceiving this was not a level site which we require for our class B RV and it was in the sun. There was no shade. It was very warm. We did not stay. We forgo the fee and decided to move on.

The campsite location was prime. Very spacious, trees for shade, the river was nearby with great pool-like areas to take a dip in. Good full restrooms. The only con was the wasps that were voracious. We couldn't eat anything without a swarm of them around taking bits of food off of our plates. No flies, just wasps. They weren't aggressive in terms of stinging, just hungry. It's a little bit of a drive to get to locations like Moro Rock, General Sherman and the Village, but under an hour based on our drive.

I had to select the site on recreation.gov and I didnt realize that it was so close to the restrooms with all of the lights that it would seem like I was asleep in a hotel room and forgot to turn the lights off. Also, so many squirrels there were holes all over and I tripped twice in the holes. When I got out of my car, I was instantly swarmed by bees and I think its from people leaving food behind. It was not a good experience.

We had a very nice overnight visit to Potwisha Campground. We stayed in spot 16 - a good sized lot surrounded the parking pad. We enjoyed the watching the wild life and fishing. This spot has a short path leading down to the river where we were able to enjoy fly fishing (the path isn't flat, but not too strenuous). The campground was quiet and the bathrooms were clean. The campground isn't centrally located like some of the others, but was very enjoyable. FYI - the dump station is across the main road from the campground and easy to use.

The site was good , bathrooms were clean with running water which is a plus.The only problem was that there was no host on site and the were people right next to us with a bunch of lights on and making a lot of noise until 3am. Beware there are lots of wasps we had to eat inside of our car

Camp site pretty close to three rivers. Not much shade. Too many bugs. Parking was good.

I went camping with my two toddlers and husband early September. No campfires allowed so we took a small stove. The camp site was nice and shaded. Walking distance to marble falls hike and easy river access. The only downside is the amount of mosquitoes and hornets that came out at any sight of food. I spoke to a ranger and apparently it's the worst during September for the hornets. So beware.

Great location and nice campsites

the lot we booked was occupied by other people. Fortunately there was an other lot still not used. Still it gave us a bad feeling, that we are now in a spot of someone else.

I received an email about a week before my reservation date telling me that there will be construction and a helicopter in the area. One week notice is absolutely not fair for me to be able to reschedule my reservation. This was very inconsiderate. As it turns out there was a drilling company {working inside the campground) less than 50 feet from my campsite for 2 days. The drilling rig was very loud and the workers walked back and forth through my campsite repeatedly. Again very inconsiderate. For three days the helicopter landed and took off about every hour. The landing site was across the road from our campground so the noise was deafening. What could have been a wonderful experience was shattered by all of the noise, equipment, and foot traffic. The short notice regarding these events was unfair. I should have been given a refund.

Campground is baking in the sun the summer and early fall. Watch out for rattlesnakes and tarantulas. Creek for swimming next to some spots. The road up to Sequoia NP is ridiculous, possibly the worst road in the US. I would get to the parks from the other entrance, unless I had a sports car.

We arrived at our place, and we found another person already settled with a tent. She kindly booked us another place to stay.

It was a nice campground. Definitely a party vibe even though it was mid week. But everyone was respectful of the quiet hours

Hello all, let me tell you true story. The camp ground is nice, the campground host is nice but extremely soft to escalate issues and concerns. We had neighbors who were not following 10pm quiet time rule. This was acknowledged by host but no action taken as well as no follow up. Overall lack of control, ownership, neglect of higher management to work with difficult situations and avoiding the involvement.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
