beautiful campground but no toilets with water. You need to prepare your water.

Pretty noisy campground with little vegetation/barrier/distance between sites. Fine if youre looking to stay up and hang out with friends but not so great if youre seeking quiet for sleeping before midnight. Also the bathrooms have very bright aging neon lights on the outside without shades, so my site was still very light at night.

Overall the campsite is beautiful located and its very quiet. But you definitely need ramps for your trailer/RV. The sites are not even at all. the facilities were clean. No cell service, which we liked. to Sherman tree and other sports, its about a 40 minutes drive. (There is a sign with: RV longer than 22 ft are not advised. We did it with our 25 ft, and it worked out well. You need to know how to drive, then its no problem. )

Good place for camping, near a restroom

The scenery of the campground was exceptional. It is a lengthy drive from the campsite into Yosemite Park but if you havent booked way in advance its the best option for campervans. Quite confusing as to how to pay when you arrive in the dark - we ended up paying online as it was easier but then got written up by the camp ranger as we hadnt paid so might be worth writing a slip to say you have done so as they arent as used to online payments?During our stay the b loop toilets got closed due to the cold weather which meant a very long and cold walk to amenities, but that is a risk of a late October stay!

In booking this campground, be aware that it is located at lower elevation and not anywhere near the center of the park. In fact, if you're in an RV/motorhome, there are significant restrictions (or, at least, recommendations against) on travel into the heart of the park from this campground.

The setting is beautiful, but the sites all require a lot of levelling.

I had a very pleasant stay at the campsite. It was in an ideal location and the bathrooms and campsites were kept clean.

I have camp spot #27 and it was kinda on a little slope, i didnt have any leveling tools, so found a rock and drove on it, other than that everything was great, and the dump station is just across the street so thats a plus.

Typical, old, federal campground. Roads are tight for RVs, sites are horribly unlevel- ours was over 6 inches off side to side- but lovely setting in the middle of a fantastic park.

It was impossible to find an open spot during the month of June 2019, but one spot here was available. This campground is in the foothills of the park. This campground has the trailhead for the Marble Falls. Also, it is close to the Hospital Rock and other spots of water. It is not the best campground, but my friends and I made the best out of the situation and do not regret staying at this campground. It is hot during the day and cool at night.
