Camp ground grown up with lots of snakes. Only 1trashcan for whole camp ground. Camp host gone 95% of the time. No sign present for turn in to camp ground. Reported and never fixed. No one at gate to check people in. Was a horrible experience and will not recommend to anyone

Lovely location, despite the wind, rain, and freeze warnings we stayed mostly dry and warm. The campgrounds are well spaced and oriented to provide privacy, even with our campsite being right next to the bathrooms and frequently used path. Bathrooms were clean and maintained. Great experience.

The only drawback is that our place was inclined and it was difficult for us to sleep in the camper like that. everything else perfect!

This campground is very overgrown, could use some yard work. There were a lot of tall weeds around. Still not a bad place to stay to visit Sequoia NP.

Such a great campsite as me and my friends enjoyed it very much. What more could you ask for to be honest. No Service but thats no biggie because you can drive like 25 minutes to the pizza restaurant and youre fine. But campsite was clean, restrooms were clean, and just overall a beautiful scenery. Will definitely be going again!

The campground was great, awesome location, layout is good, and the host Huck (Keith) was very helpful

Totally ok, bathroom are clean, no showers. A Ranger walked by to have a short learning session with everybody. It takes about 45 min from there to go up to the Sequoias.

Easy to access campground; fairly spacious tent sites; clean tent sites and bathrooms; bear boxes at every tent site.

Campground looks very old and is right out of '70's. Bathrooms look tired. Virtuality all campsites are on uneven ground, and most of the area was overgrown. Our Bear box was half blocked by scrub. Sequioa and Kings were closed when we arrived due to road wash outs.

We didn't even show up as the reports we received a day before we were to arrive showed that the Generals Hwy was closed from just above the camp to the exit near Grants Grove Village, essentially rendering visiting Sequoia National Park off limits. Why travel all the way there and NOT get to see the park? I'm disappointed they didn't warn us in advance.

It was 103 when my dog and I arrived. The site had no shade AT ALL including where the picnic table sat. The only available shade was under and next to my car. After several hours of sweltering heat as the sun was going down the flies came out. I also noticed at this time that the campsites directly in front of the one I occupied all had street lighting above them probably because they where handicap sites so that lighting also illuminated my site too. I did not spend the night. I drove back down the hill and slept in a rest area. I was very disappointed.

Our camping experience in an RV was great. Spot 28 & 31 are better suited for an RV with a slide on the passenger side based on the slope. Tent areas were good. Restrooms were close but not too busy to be an inconvenience at night.

At around 2000 ft, the daytime temps in May reached 80, but the overnite temp was in the 50s. It was so warm there was no dew on my tent. My site #31 was overrun with squirrels, so brazen they jumped into my car and into the bear box and opened a bag of potato chips. I had to figure out how to cook without leaving food unattended on the table, which they would climb upon, even if I was sitting there. The campground was clean, and quiet, the campers were very chill. There's a short walk to the river, like 5 minutes. While I walked there one evening, my purse was stolen out of my car, which I left unlocked briefly, I was gone for about 30 minutes. That was a bummer but I found it hard to believe any camper would do such a thing. There were 3 young men at the site next to me, who arrived in the late afternoon and did not set up camp, and were gone by the time I got up. When I reported that to the ranger, he said the campsite was a favorite for locals who use it as a jumping-off place for swimming in the river. I don't know who took my purse, it's ultimately my responsibility, but that's low. However, I still enjoyed camping, and thought the campground was spacious.
