I went camping with my two toddlers and husband early September. No campfires allowed so we took a small stove. The camp site was nice and shaded. Walking distance to marble falls hike and easy river access. The only downside is the amount of mosquitoes and hornets that came out at any sight of food. I spoke to a ranger and apparently it's the worst during September for the hornets. So beware.

Hello all, let me tell you true story. The camp ground is nice, the campground host is nice but extremely soft to escalate issues and concerns. We had neighbors who were not following 10pm quiet time rule. This was acknowledged by host but no action taken as well as no follow up. Overall lack of control, ownership, neglect of higher management to work with difficult situations and avoiding the involvement.

Open skies for amazing viewing of the stars.

Nice campsite that provides access into Sequoia. However, to get into Moro Rock, the sequoia groves and into Kings Canyon, you must drive up a curvy road to those sites.

We had rented a small camper van in Fresno for this trip, it was 20' long. I did not see the vehicle length restriction for this campground (which was listed as only 13') until a week before the trip. I really panicked and tried to reach anyone by phone or email, but receation.gov is just swamped this time of year. We ended up taking our tent and sleeping gear on plane just in case we had to abandon our vehicle to overflow parking, where sleeping is not allowed. However, even though the parking area for our site was short, our wheels fit on the pavement (that's what they're concerned with), and no one kicked us out, and it was a beautiful camping experience!

Slight walk uphill but close to bathroom and close to entrance

Loved this campsite - it was my favorite of all the camp sites I stayed at on this trip. I liked that it was smaller! Temperature was perfect in October. Not to hot, not too cold!

We had Sites 21 and 24 (next to each other) with a large group, plenty of room. The sites both had some shade which was really nice. It can get pretty hot there in the summer months! The park was mostly closed when we visited, so we did one the few trails open - Marble Falls. It was an awesome hike, busy most likely because there weren't many other options. The flush toilets & sink are a plus.

‘Twas nice. Bathroom was pretty clean. View to the mountains past the trees was cool. The river was really nice background noise.
