The site I had was far from level, fortunately someone had left some decent rocks because it needed 8+ inches to get under the van. The signage is terrible coming in, resulting in me making 3 loops of the campground to get to the right site. The layout makes it so there's little privacy and its just loud with other campers. Its a beautiful park and the campground is well located, but many of the sites i would rate as sub-par.

Campground was spacious and toilets were good and generally clean. Our picnic table was not very flat and it was a bit problematic for cooking. The thing that was annoying me the most were few people to not respect fire restrictions. There was a very high rish of fire during thanksgiving weekend and people during the night were having their fire on. I think this would require more survelliance because it is a matter of safety.

Good facilities, clean toilet, clean site, parking spot on a slight slope. Deers visited the campground in the mornings

Located next to a river you can recreate in, the water was shallow and clear in rocky pools so I felt very safe. Clean campground but the fire ban was disappointing. There were squirrels everywhere and they weren't shy, which was entertaining. A deer felt comfortable walking through the neighboring campsite from us so that was cool. The campsites were well marked and neat. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Wish there was a shower, I don't see why you would have so many bathrooms and outdoor sinks but not a shower. The trailhead for Marble Falls is in camp, and the hike was brutal but amazing. I notice the trailhead map says it's 3.6 (?) miles to the falls, the map I bought in the park said it was 2.5 My fitness tracker agreed with 3.6 and the elevation gain was devastating. The end result is worth it but only just once in a lifetime.

We had a wonderful time!! I only wish that all campers would have their dogs on a leash at all times as stated in the regulations.
