Potwisha is a small campground near the south entrance to Sequoia National Park. The bathrooms are great. The sites seem small, so please keep that in mind when booking. Few sites would accommodate over 24'. I camped in the disability site 40. I do have a disability, so I do qualify; however, I would have found it difficult if my disability was a restricted movement one. The site is not level, and I can't imagine negotiating a wheelchair. Regardless, the camp is stunningly beautiful, and I would camp there again without question. Book in advance as it is small and popular.

It was a very clean campground And it was a very nice location Not to far down from most all the must see destinations And close to water source which was nice to get in cause when we went it was hot

I had an amazing experience and the park ranger on our campsite was extremely helpful and nice

It was really great that there is a dump station there, especially for no charge.

This campground is at lower elevation near the south entrance to the park. It was extremely dry and hot during our visit and much of the vegetation was brown and withered making for a dusty environment lacking shade. The nearby stream level was very low. The dump station was inoperative due to unmaintained water lines. Overall a disappointing stop.

A water faucet should be on each loop. I was in spot 40 and had a constant stream of people cutting through my camp to get water.

We have a 40 foot motor home, due to large rocks bordering the road and low branches some of the turns were difficult to make in the campground. It was so to see deer and wild turkeys in the campground.
