Very clean and well kept campground. The host was very pleasant and the proximity to the creek was a big plus. Although it was a bit of a drive to Yosemite Valley, we probably wouldnt have visited Hetch Hetchy otherwise, which added a lot to our overall trip. I would also recommend this campground if you want to get away from the crowds of people in the valley.

Awesome!! Our first time at Potwisha... but not the last. We stayed during the week. So peaceful and tranquil. Deer visited most evenings and a few mornings. Toilets were clean and the bear boxes of good size to store foods and toiletries for the week. We're tent campers and like the peace and quiet. Towards the weekend the RVs and trailers with generators started to appear but they did not go over the 10pm to 6am quiet time. If you hike Marble Falls by Campsite #14... it took us 6 hours round trip not 3.5 hours as indicated by All Trails. We're a little on the slow side but didn't expect a 6 hour excursion. Just a heads up about that trail. We were here during the General Highway closure. But still had a blast going up the mountain to hike Moro Rock, General Sherman and Big Trees Trails during the allowed travel times. Sequoia NP is awesome. We hope to come back when the Crystal Caves are open and to hike the Congress Trail and more. The ice cream and chocolates at Reimers in Three Rivers is amazing. Happy Camping and Hiking everyone!!

Excellent experience at Potwisha, convenient to Sequoia National Park. We explored hospital rock, tunnel rock, hiked to bridge, trail located across street from Potwisha campground. The river falls were amazing near bridge, this hike was short but moderate ability over rocks at times, wear hiking boots and walking sticks for balance. Our site had mountain view, and near clean well stocked flush toilets. We filled up potable water across street from Potwisha campground entrance, dump station there as well. Great amazing mountain, river and wild spring flora seen throughout our ride up to Park. There is a 3.7 mile hike to larger falls near site 14, we did not have time to explore.
Our camping experience in an RV was great. Spot 28 & 31 are better suited for an RV with a slide on the passenger side based on the slope. Tent areas were good. Restrooms were close but not too busy to be an inconvenience at night.

Great location, most sites are not level at all. The bathrooms we not cleaned well at all. Turkey’s and deer all over the campground, great hiking and of course the giant forest
