There was no one responsible got the Place. The toilets more than rudimentary, the underground unsuitable for a tent weeds all over the place not cut. Its the worst campsite in the us Ive ever been. Dont recommend it for a tent and a stay longer than absolutely necessary.

Beautiful place. Convenient to southern end of park.

The campsite was not at all as described on the website. Sites are very close together and not level. The campground is very far from where the "action is" in the National Park. Not a very good commute from the campground.

Our campsite (#7) was terribly small, barely enough room to fit our 3-person backpacking tent between the fire ring and the picnic table. There was no shade, and the mosquitoes were awful. Some of the other sites were much larger, but if I had arrived with a family of 4 and a large tent this simply wouldnt have worked. The bathroom was fine, and there was a sink outside it for washing dishes. We never saw the camp host and shortened our reservation after we found openings at other much better campgrounds in the parks.

Very convenient to be inside the park and not have to come in/out on a daily basis. About a 45 minute ride to get to General Sherman Tree. Everything seemed well cared for still. Clean bathrooms. Campsites seemed well maintained still.

Got this campground for a day before heading to the Lodgepole campground. Its definitely not a campground for those who no not like the summer heat. Campsite 7 was directly in the sun all day until about 8pm and it was 95 out. Aside the heat, the experience was good. A deer walked through our site early in the morning, its close to the campground amenities and the campsite itself isnt too close to any neighbors. Just wish they had showers nearby.

Loved it there! Silent and nice campground.

The site I reserved (site 7) was simply unacceptable when I arrived. The tent space, picnic table and fire ring could all fit in a tiny bedroom with absolutely no extra usable space around. There was no shelter from the sun whatsoever. The camp host could not be found, so I left after a 4 hour drive to get there from Yosemite. I went home. Other campsites looked decent - twice as large and larger with some shade trees, but do not reserve this site unless you have no need for space or shelter.

Nice campground but too many loud people. We were kept awake until past midnight by loud parties both nights we were there.

We knew it would be hot because of the low elevation. And it was hot! We were up in the park all three days, however, so it was only uncomfortable for about three hours each day. We were just lucky to get a spot as all other campgrounds were full at the late date that we bookedd a reservation.
