I didnt expect to have as much space as we did. The toilet was very clean and sanitary. We got to see the Milky Way and so many stars and shooting stars. It was spectacular.

Not an ideal camping spot. The space is extremely limited barely enough room for two small backpacking tents. While being next to the rocks had some appeal, it just didnt work for me personally wouldnt recommend.

It was really hot (July), and we disturbed a red ant nest, but otherwise it was great. LOL. We brought plenty of water. We were in site 33. Really nice, high rock face - provided some shade almost the entire day. If you can manage the heat, July is a good time to be there - very quiet, not a lot of other campers. We walked out the Indian Nature Trail to watch the sunset - very picturesque.

The grounds were sloped posing little uncomfortable stay.The grounds were very hard to put any stakes into it.Some portions of the park were closed but not conspicuously informed in the website nor email

We had a wonderful stay at Indian Cove Campground! The setting is absolutely stunningnestled among the iconic rock formations of Joshua Tree, its the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature.Each campsite is well-maintained and comes with a sturdy picnic table, which made our family meals especially enjoyable. Stargazing here is a real treatthe night sky is breathtakingly clear, offering a spectacular view of the stars.A helpful tip for future campers: tent site sizes are limited, so if youre planning to set up more than one tent, its best to reserve two adjacent sites if possible. Alternatively, look for a site at the end of a loop for a bit more space and privacy.The bathrooms were clean and well-kept throughout our stay, which we really appreciated. Just remember to bring your own water, as theres no potable water available at the campground. And please be mindful of wildlifedispose of your trash properly in the designated bins to keep critters away from your site.Overall, Indian Cove is a gem for campers who love scenic views, peaceful nights, and a true desert experience. We cant wait to come back!

Clean site . Pictures accurate representation of what to expect. Well maintained area. Camping sites easily marked so not hard to find my spot

We had one of the best site, it was very spacious and not too far from restroom. But we were there at the beginning of June and the weather was just brutal. It was so hot and windy at the same time. Also, there was a car parked on our spot when we arrived. There was really nothing you can do because there no staff nearby nor at the entrance.Furthermore, during the day, when the temperature was high and the wind blowing at the right direction, the smell of the restroom was definitely noticeable. Additionally, people walked through our site constantly because it was close to restroom even in the middle of the night.To sum up our experience, my kids usually love camping, but they did not enjoy this trip and wanted to go home the very first morning.

Amazing experience to spend the night on the desert. The campground was very nice and clean. The good thing is that its located maybe 10 minutes drive from the town so you can easily get some water or food if you need

Amazing site with even better views. Cant wait to come back.

Sites are useless. Parking pads are not even close to level, with tables and fire rings far from vehicle parking. Due to the rocks and sites being on top of each other, the noise level is insanely high. Not worth the trip.

I got locked in the bathroom from the inside and a ranger saved me. 5/5 stars for the ranger. It was over 95 degrees outside (around noon time) and the inside was hotter. Had he not been passing by and heard me banging on the doors, it would've been a dangerous situation for me.

Meh campground wise our site was really close to the other campsites. It got too hot during the day and we had to leave.

We always enjoy Indian Cove in JT. Not only do you get the JT experience but you technically don't have to enter the park and pay the entrance fee. And it's <10 minutes from a mini-mart for a beer/ice run.The weather this Memorial weekend was outstanding. A high of 80 deg. which we've never experienced in past years. Usually expect 90+ on that weekend. Only issue we had this year was that the fire pit was pretty full of ash. Thankfully I always bring my trusty shovel and just scooped a bunch out.Other than that it was a wonderful experience once again.Thanks!

We enjoyed a quiet two night (Sun-Tue) stay in The Cove. Site 25 worked well because the relatively long and flat parking space accommodated our Sprinter perfectly. We will definitely return next fall.

I wanted to love this campground, but there isnt a host and youre on your own entirely there. Normally fine, but its accessed from the highway, not passing a park entrance station, so anyone can go in. Squatters abound. Hopefully you have a better experience than I did; its a crapshoot as to who shows up. One guy was blasting music with bass so loud it was ricocheting off of the rocks. I was able to find a spot of cell service and change sites, thankfully (because nobody was around to help, and I didnt feel safe asking him a second time to turn it down!). The back up spot was quiet at first, and then neighbors there started playing music and letting their dogs bark and howl. Ugh. At least they werent quite as loud as the guy before. I bailed on my second nightthis is my least favorite kind of camping, and its not relaxing. I wish there was a host.

Long drive from NorCalbut, it was worth the driveit was very windy the days we visitedit was diffinately different and uniq place to RV/campshort trails worked out perfect for us. Also, the scenic drive through the park, from one end to the other, was greatsome amazing rock formations and how they are stacked.

Indian Cove campground is really beautiful, and spot 074 is right up against some gorgeous rocks. The space itself is much smaller than some others, but it had space for a 4 person tent. The campground was quiet at night, and the star gazing was incredible!

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
