Beautiful campground. We were in site 100 and my kids loved the bouldering opportunities right at the site. The campground was busy but not super loud. We'd return in a heartbeat.

Wonderful, secluded campground with amazing rocks to explore and a really nice area just to walk around. Really appreciated that I was allowed to have my dog here and we were able to walk on the road. Thank you very much. I also liked that. It was very clean and there was a nature trail.

Our 1st visit. hope its not our last. Amazing landscape. if you like climbing huge rocks its perfect. from easy to difficult. we drove straight to our site, we didnt see a check in station, and no one checked us in after we arrived? 1 night stayclean vault toilets everywhere, you will be close. our site was small but awesome backed in, and had our own private cave, and and a very easy climb on a level drive. i noticed some of the parallel spots were not level . dont let your dog walk off the road, huge thorns.

This campground is in a beautiful, quiet location. There seemed to be clusters of 3 or 4 campsites sharing a toilet. Nice picnic tables and firepits. I selected a campsite that said it had room for 6 people and 3 tents. When we arrived, we were surprised to see that it was on a hill and the only flat spot was right up against the picnic table, down at the bottom of the hill. We made it work and had a lovely night. Did the nature trail at the end of the road early in the morning and it was beautiful with yuccas and cactus blooming and birds singing. Would camp there again, but in a different spot.

Nice campground with sites nestled into the rocks

Went to watch the Lunar Eclipse and it was fantastic. Our camp neighbor was super friendly. There were rock climbers when we got to our site and it was cool to see them do their thing. The only complaint was there were two obnoxious women who decided 1am was when they were going to loudly make camp across the road from us. After waking up their neighbors fighting over the campsite and hammering their stakes down, and talking at normal volume, not even whispering, I loudly shushed them and that seemed to have some effect--finally.CAMPERS PLEASE DON'T BE THESE PEOPLE!!! Would undoubtedly go again.

Very quiet and beautiful scenery. Campsites are rather small. Although we were sharing the area with another couple, they were very quiet and the experience was great.

Pretty campground, poor roads but fine to drive on. I stayed in site 95; which is small but feels secluded (bonus for a large campground). If you have a bigger tent (more than 1p), sites 94 and 93 were bigger and felt a bit secluded as well. Nice shade due to the rocks. I'd say most of the people were respectful, but I definitely prefer dispersed camping to campground camping any day. There were remnants from the previous tenants. Please remember LNT.

Considering there were no hosts and no rangers, campers were amazingly quiet, clean and rule abiding.

I thought because this location was outside the park that it would feel different but it was actually very nice and felt just the same. We booked it super last minute so it was our only option but so glad it worked out cause we ended up loving it.

Very quiet and relaxing camping trip. Beautiful weather, lots of climbing and bouldering. Very few people in the campground from Tuesday to Friday. We will go again

A park entrance fee is not required to enter/stay at this campsite. Very clean and spacious, but just be mindful of which campsite you are staying at, some are smaller than others. At campsite #2, you could at most fit a 4-person tent (8x7) only! Lots of little areas to go rock climbing within the campground, not too strenuous, my four-year-old had a blast! It is about a 30-minute drive to the north entrance of Joshua Tree.

Site 30 with its little cave is so amazing. It provides shade in the afternoon a little wind cover. The views from the campsite were amazing

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
