Fun campground. Very full, large groups, lots of kids when we were there. Effective parent control would be nice. Beautiful setting. Very wind when we set up but it settled down.

Excellence camping, very clean and the views are amazing. 31 class A at site 49. Second time at same site.

When I got to the campground, I realized I picked a site for 1 car only but 2 cars would be present. I was able to easily change my site number to another one available using the Recreation.gov app. The internet service in the area of the campground is limited (I have TMobile) but I was able to get service at the picnic day-use area and make the change to accommodate our party.

Went on the full moon and booked very last minute. The sites themselves were comfortable and spacious and the bathroom was well kept. Even the immediate area around our site was beautiful and felt far from town even though we were just a few minutes drive. Already excited to go back!

Spot 49 has neighbors to both sides. 48 is so close we could hear them talk. Just an fyi if you want more privacy. The spot is for 2 cars but we took a Tahoe and I’m not sure how 2 SUVS would fit and be able to open doors etc. There was a little shade, but that will change with month visiting. Def suggest taking pop up canopy for shade. We slept in our car, but I do believe that a 4 person tent would fit comfortably. There is also additional space for a 2 person tent if you get creative with setting up. The toilet is max 30 steps away with PLENTY of tp and it was clean. Every spot has beautiful views.

This was an incredible campground for the site, the views, the surroundings. A bit remote from the rest of the easily accessible park but we really enjoyed it. Beautiful skies for stargazing, rocks to climb, all good things. You do get morning and later afternoon shade here if you’re near the taller rocks.
Pit toilets were clean. Camp host is located outside the main campground, but was friendly and helpful when we stopped there to fill water.

Indian Cove is my favorite campground in Joshua Tree, the sites are mostly by the giant boulders and allow two cars. The site I used is large enough for 3-4 small tents or 2 large tents. The restroom was clean and all my neighbors were quiet and respectful.

Lovely site & campgrounds .

Campground was great, but requiring reservations at a park which has no cell service is ridiculous since you have to drive all the way across a huge park and leave it to make a reservation.

The kids hands down love this place. As long as you go when its not more than mid 90s. Our go to camping destination.

Good spot, fire pit is next to a Boulder wall that you can sit at to enjoy the fire.
Exposure to morning sun, but has shade in evening as sun sets.
