Great spot hidden around the rocks. expect a small walk to and from car. pack a wagon if you have one :))

Indian Cove, and Joshua Tree in general, its one of most beautiful locations Ive ever visited.I arrived at late twilight, so I really didnt get a good chance to take in my surroundings before it got dark. I was not disappointed though because that meant that the sky was full of stars and I spent a good chunk of the evening just taking it all in. I one thing I didnt realize before I arrived was that, at least for the section I was in, my campsite was one that I had to walk into to get to. It was only 100 feet or so, but that wasnt terribly convenient for me considering I was travelling in a campervan without a tent. I probably missed this info somewhere along the way when I was booking, but it really didnt cause much of a problem.As I missed the sunset, I didnt make that mistake a second time and I woke up before sunrise for a hike and to take photos. It was a beautiful sunrise and the rocks just glow in the early morning light.I had already made plans to head towards the Pacific the next day, but was having some regrets as I left because I probably shouldve stayed an extra day or two. It is such a beautiful location and there is so much to see and do.

Lovely campsite! I had a great time here even though arrival was super late and I didn't get to enjoy the campsite that much. But it was clean and beautiful. Just how I like my campsites :)

It wasn't clear from the reservation website that the site I was reserving was for a WALK-IN tent site. That would have been good to know. And when I arrived at my narrow parking slot, my neighbors were trying to fit two vehicles into their single parking spot. So we did some shuffling and thankfully no one arrived for the spot on the other side of them. Then later after dark, someone did arrive at the spot on the other side of me. And they had to shuffle around to find enough width to enable them to pop up their roof tent with inches to spare! All in all typical Joshua Tree campground hilarity. Thanks for doing your best. And now I know more than I knew before about camping sites at Indian Cove.

Views in Indian Cove are amazing! Campsites are well spaced, but some are better than others. Facilities are kept clean.
