Excellent experience at Sheep Pass Group campground. We had site #6 and it was plenty big for our hiking group of 15. Very quiet and scenic with clean restrooms. Great BBQ pits. Pleasantly surprised with everything!

Amazing location within the park. Our group used sites 2, 5, and 6. Each of them was great in its own way. Amazing views of the park, great rock scrambling, and the sites really made you feel like you had the park to yourself. Bathrooms were also super clean!

The campsite was great for our large party. Plenty of room and level ground for 12 tents. Lots of parking and a short walk to the bathrooms. Very quiet and not close to other campsites.

We had a wonderful time at Sheeps Pass for our annual Cub Scouts trip! The group accommodations were great and we loved the site for being able to book a private rock climbing experience within walking distance - will definitely be back!

Nice campsite. Be warned that if you sleep in your car, the parking at Site No. 6 is significantly out of level and I would not recommend it for that purpose.

Can be a bit windy, but if you have a calm weekend, its the best. Park your car across the entrance to your campsite to cut down on randos showing up late night without a reservation, dude you have a 80k van, go away.

This site was beautiful. However the park employee - Tristan W - was extremely rude. He made strange remarks to my people in my group and we felt unsafe by his presence.

Awesome campground!!! Theres a lot to do and to explore. Even though its a group campsite, I went by myself and had a great time. I enjoyed the space and privacy. I will definitely come back.

We loved our stay at Sheep Pass Group Campground! The site was spacious enough for our group of 30, with plenty of room to spread out. Having two fire pits was a great bonus for gathering at night. The nearby rocks were perfect for scrambling and exploring during the day. Bathrooms were clean and well-maintained.

This is the best camping spot we have ever experienced with a large group. The camping sites are so spacious with plenty of space for cars, tents, 3 eating tables, a fire pit, a bbq, and a kitchen table. Not only are the spaces incredible and located extremely close to the large clean restrooms, but the sites in sheeps pass are surrounded by perfect boulders that kids and teenagers a like can spend hours upon hours a day exploring. We loved how close this site was to the weather entrance as well as to skull rock and hall of horrors and we had such an incredible time looking up at the brightest night sky we had ever seen at night. Loved this spot so much! Cant wait to be back here again :)

Group Site 6 is large enough to hold 8 vehicles and up to 30 people. It's the first campsite on your left as you enter into Sheep's Pass. The site is split by a large rock formation so that you have a fire ring on either side of the boulder. 2 regular concrete picnic tables with bench seats are on each side of the boulder. A single concrete table without seats is on the eastern side of the rock formation. That concrete table without seats is essential to prevent mice from climbing up to eat your food. Plastic totes are essential to storing your food items to prevent rodent damage. There are a lot of fat mice living along the rock formation. Don't leave your car doors or trunks open at night as the mice will enter into the car for food. Clean fixed port a johns are to the east of the campsite. Another bonus is that if you have AT&T as your carrier, you're able to obtain a signal from the western side of the rock formation.

a little backed up at the front of the park but it seems like the park acknowledges this and is currently building a new entrance station! Love to see it!

Our Cub Scout group of thirty 5-11 year olds had the BEST time camping at Sheeps Pass! We especially liked rockclimbing with Uprising Adventures, and Joshua Tree National Park Rangers Harlan and Jeff who gave an amazing guided tour. Our kids had an amazing time, learned so much, and were inspired to pick up over 750 pieces of trash to help the park's Joshua Trees, animals and other plants. Thank you for all you do to inspire future generations to protect our countrys beautiful natural heritage!

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
