Beautiful, Quiet, Dark, clean restrooms, toilet paper o plenty. Awesome campsite with 2 fire pits one up and behind some big rocks. Great site!

a little backed up at the front of the park but it seems like the park acknowledges this and is currently building a new entrance station! Love to see it!

Weve stayed at Sheeps Pass many times before and love the spot. However, we had neighbors at G1 who were blasting music much of the day and into the late nightwell past quiet hours. This was a full on sound system booming. The second night I was so sick of the noise I drove for 20 minutes looking for a ranger (there is no cell service). I couldnt go all the way to the main gate because I was traveling with kids and didnt want to be gone too long, and I didnt feel comfortable asking them to quiet down because it seemed like alcohol and who knows what else were involved at this personal Coachella. This was such a disappointment for a family who loves nature and getting away from it all. That said, the site was beautiful and we did a few new hikes this time that we were happy to have explored. The restrooms were rustic but clean. So many blooming flowers and birds/wildlife out and about this time of year!

We camp at Sheep Pass every year and love it. The kids enjoy scrambling around the rocks directly behind our campsite and it's also a short drive from trailheads and rock climbing options. The restrooms are well maintained, which is a plus.

The Sheep Pass Group site was amazing. Incredible rocks for the kids to play in and climb. Great space for what we needed.

Super easy to book last minute. Site was very large and clean, right next to amazing rocks and small little caves.

Sheep's pass is a great campsite centrally located within Joshua Tree NP. The group site had plenty of room for multiple tents and there was a good amount of space between the different group sites. Lots of rocks nearby for scrambling and good trails. Highly recommend for a bigger group visiting the park!

Great site over all. Good space between camp sites. The limited facilities were well maintained. We were in site 5, and the only down side was the very strong winds (we where there the last week of December). If we camped here again we would try for one of the sites closer to the hill side (1, 2 or 3).

Right in the center of Joshua tree with cleaner than expected restrooms. Usually for big groups. Beautiful stars. Temperature for camping is perfect in Nov/Oct

This was probably the most beautiful, fun campsite I've ever had in a National Park.

Everything was organized, except for some of the visitors. There were very clearly labeled containers for sorting garbage, but there are always some folks that cannot be bothered. Also, we picked up lots of trash in our area, which is unfortunate but we did not mind doing so. Very beautiful area with great rock formations right next to the tents and parking. Thank you.

Really enjoyed our stay, and only minor issue was there were some people in our reserved spot when we got there but it's understandable due to Park rangers not being able to go check camping sites. Completely dark at night so we had a very fun time.

We love this campground. Ive stayed at Site 1 in the past, which was spacious, beautiful and great for larger groups. We stayed at Site 5 this time with a smaller group. We loved it. There is space behind the picnic tables that feels more secluded and private. That was our favorite part. By nightfall, you feel a bit far away from everyone, which is hard to find in some group site campgrounds. Sheep Pass is by far my favorite campground that you can reserve in the area. The fact that its in the park makes it incredibly special.
