a little backed up at the front of the park but it seems like the park acknowledges this and is currently building a new entrance station! Love to see it!

Campground was left clean and open with no signs of trash left anywhere. One of the first things we did was hike up to Ryan Mt. in which the trailhead is inside to the campsite - great place to stay if you want to conquer Ryan Mt. Overall, our neighbors were pleasant and the bathrooms were well kept so no complaints.

We booked last minute on a Friday morning since all of the FCFS campgrounds were completely full. The sites are very large, very comfortably accommodated our group of 7 with 3 tents and 2 cars, could definitely fit a lot more. Loved that the other sites weren’t too close to each other so we got our peace and quiet. If you venture outside the site a bit there are lots of large rocks to climb, made for great pictures of the valley at sunset. The site is close to popular trails like Ryan Mountain and also some rock climbing spots. One of the best parts is the restrooms are EXTREMELY clean! We saw someone at least twice a day cleaning and checking them. I personally believe this is one of the best campgrounds in the park and we will definitely book again.

Overall I can't complain about the campsite itself, it was clean and organized. My only complaint is that it was double-booked and i found another group camping there. We ended up sharing the site but that shouldn't happen and one of us should get at least a partial refund

We loved Sheep's Pass. The location is perfect for accessing most of the sites in the Northwest side of the park and sits between several. The campground and surrounding boulders were beautiful, and it was a perfect space to view the sunset. We camped in sites 4 and 5 and had to move back-and-forth, but it was easy and convenient. We also had a smaller party than expected and came in below the minimum threshold, but the park staff were accommodating. Joshua Tree is truly magical and this is a great way to experience it.
