Such a great place! I love that you can just drive right to your site. No checking-in or administrative hassles. Dont forget to bring water!

we didnt end up using this site because a few people in our group couldnt make it. Though, this site was quite sloped and would have been difficult to put a tent on.

What an incredible outdoor playground to camp in. Exploring the boulders and views at Indian Cove was the highlight of my first trip to Joshua Tree NP. Can't wait for a return trip when I can bring more adventure buddies next time.

Pretty new to camping, but Indian Cove is my favorite place to go. Love the peace and quiet and the stars. God has truly made a beautiful place.

This was our first time in Joshua Tree National Park, which is barely two hours drive from my home. We were amazed at the beauty of Indian Cove Campground. There are about a hundred camp sites there and a great majority of them have close proximity to huge and beautiful rock formations. They are beautiful and they are everywhere! We drove to check out other campgrounds in the national park and while they were also beautiful, we were surprised to see the boulders were smaller in scale and the larger numbers of people in them. Indian Cove Campground in our opinion was more beautiful and less crowded and quickly became a favorite camping destination for us.

Very clean and quiet campground with beautiful scenery. There were a few groups that were climbing the many rock features nearby during the day. Pit-style toilets and trash/recycling receptacles were reasonably clean and convenient to most sites. No water source in the campground but available back at the Ranger station down the road. Also the check-in procedure wasn’t exactly clear as there were no cards/receipts to claim your site, however we noticed there was a list of all of the sites with reservation holders names at the ranger station so we took a picture of that in case we were asked later on. All in all a great first camping experience at Joshua Tree with amazing views and the silence of the desert.

This was my favorite out of the 5 Joshua Tree camp sites I stayed at. Although I was a little disappointed that it wasn't insure the park, everything about this site made up for it. Each had its own beautiful views of mountains and was up against beautiful, huge rocks. Loved it!

Very nice at night. Bring enough water. There’s no water unless you go out the park by the ranger station.

Beautiful location and overall great campsites. Only issues were the bathrooms were a bit too dirty the whole weekend. Can be windy so buckle down all your stuff!
