This campsite is gorgeous, the rocks around each campsite offer a perfect opportunity for rock climbing and exploring. The only qualm we had was very noisy neighbors

Site 47 is a great site, particularly if you are tent camping. The parking spot isn't the most level spot for car camping though...bring blocks. As well, the vehicle needs to be 20' or less to fit comfortably in the spot. Other than that, it's a fairly private spot and comfortable.

Our campsite was super easy to find and very well marked even in the dark. The site itself presents two camping areas; we chose to pitch the tent surrounded by boulders tucked away from the parking spot. The camp site and park facilities were very clean and accessible. All of our neighbors were super chill and we enjoyed a wonderful night watching the sky.

I was surprised by how close the campground is from town. Brought more than enough water. Our site offered a little bit of privacy. SO MUCH CLIMBING. Can’t wait to go back

Beautiful campsites! Really liked being surrounded by all the tall rocks that were perfect for scrambling. Facilities were clean. A bit of a drive to the central part of the park, but still a wonderful time.

The campground was quiet and secluded. There were people in the neighboring campsites but it wasn't noisy at all. And it was in a beautiful setting. I recommend it.

The campgrounds are well kept. The roads cost it a 5 star rating. The noise level thanks to a group doing a photo shoot got a bit loud. The hiking trails are nice & fairly well marked. I recommend this campsite.

Great site, spacious. sites have fire pits. outside of the park, easiest entrance is through 29 palms entrance. easy access to supplies at Stater Bro's and other stores. Close to fuel stops in 29 palms. This site is more readily bookable than the other sites in the park (apart from cottonwood)

This was the best camping experience I've ever had with my family. We stayed in site 47 and pitched our tent up high in between the rocks. It was the perfect spot and felt really tucked in. We will definitely be back.

Incredibly beautiful, peaceful spot amongst the rocks. Park rangers helpful and accommodating. Easy in and out and clean facilities (though you need to bring your own water).
