Amazing campgrounds that are very clean, spacious and right next to the dunes. Bathrooms are clean and they have clean water. Couldn't be better.

This campground offers stunning views of the dunes and sunset. The Restrooms are well-equipped and clean.Note: there is no wifi, even at the Visitor's Center.

Lovely visit and camping at the Great Sand Dunes. It was one of our best experiences in many visits to Pinion Campground. There were many thoughtful and considerate campers in attendance.

The lady who cleans the bathroom deserves a raise! I tried to tip her and she said she couldnt take it. How insane that the person who deserves a tip cant take it but the entitled barista who is just handing me a coffee will demand a tip! What a weird world we live in!

Very nice campground. Sites were well kept and clean. Roads were good and site was quite level and wide enough for a small slide out. Picnic table and fire ring were easily accessible. Tent sites were plentiful and well placed. Site was partially shaded which would be nice during summer.

This was my first camping experience and I don't think it could've been any better! The campground lot was pretty spacious (we parked a Subaru Impreza and a Kia Soul with a lot of room still left!)The bathrooms were pristine and had running water. Super nice stay!

Just an overnight stay in our Four Wheel Camper pop up truck camper. But definitely worth it! The campground was neat and clean, including the bathroom. Camp sites vary in size, and some are more level than others, so choose carefully. We had #77 I recall, and it was just right for camper length of about 25 ft. Slightly unlevel but not bad. The sunset on the dunes is other worldly and I highly recommend a visit here.

Nice campground and my site was roomy and easy to access. The campground was clean and well maintained. as were the restrooms. I appreciated the heat panel in the ceiling on the chilly morning I was there.The only negative mark I would leave is that it seemed one trailer camping party a few sites away may have been pushing the generator use time windows a bit. I wasn't standing there with my watch, but it just seemed that way!Great stay!

We were only here for one night. The dunes were an impressive sight and we had a nice hike partway up the Mosca Pass trail. The wind was blowing very hard so we elected not to climb the dunes.

Absolute premiere setting for camping at the Dunes. Excellent and convenient campground with unexpected bells and whistles like potable water, gray water dumping station for RVs, a Campers kiosk with a little bit of everything available for purchase, luxurious bathrooms and kitchen cleaning station

Really enjoyed my stay even when the wind blew and there were short dramatic snow storms. Explored the trails on the mountain slopes - beautiful views. Watching the light on the dunes is magical. Campground is well cared for and comfortable. Not my first visit and won't be my last.

Wonderful campsite with clean bathrooms. Close to dunes. Even a camp store. Only issue was loud generator in neighboring campsite. Wish generators were not allowed. Noise pollution for campers trying to get away.

Great campground! Will definitely come again. Unfortunately some choose to speed making pulloff (as opposed to back-in) campsites almost dangerous at times.

Camp host, Nancy was amazing. So friendly and helpful. Campground was so clean and the views were beautiful! I wish I could have stayed longer but it was all booked up for the weekend
