Great spot/location, but it was difficult to level out our rig in the site. There was not enough room to park the truck and trailer parallel, but it was a great spot with a really nice view.

Nice campsite with a good view of the dunes. Park is beautiful, restrooms are clean and the campground is in good condition.Only problem was very noisy neighbors who partied loudly until we banged on their RV door at 11:00p.m. Obviously not the fault of NPS, just a shame some people have no respect for others.

This campground is excellent. Close to the dunes, plenty of bathrooms, a camp store for ice and firewood. Ill definitely be back!

Only stayed one night but it was a great campsite. Our name was not on our reserved spot (another name was there) but we assumed since we made our reservation the day before, that the name on the site plaque had cancelled, and no one showed.Bathrooms are well maintained and clean

This was our second time staying in Pinon Flats and we love the beauty, the cleanliness and the attention of the rangers and staff to providing an excellent camping experience while preserving the park. One of our favorite activities is watching the sunset from the rock fins near the upper group campsite--breathtaking every time!

Great campsite, well maintained restrooms and camp store. Good amount of shade coverage

Site has a good view of the dunes. Getting situated in the site was a bit tough with a 30 travel trailer due to both ends of the pullout being at sharp angles. 3 blocks to get level side to side. Biting flies were not fun, but we managed (just spent less time outside than we would like).

Great spot! We could see the Dunes from our campsite. Restrooms all very close. No showers, but clean bathrooms

I absolutely loved this campground! We reserved a spot on Loop 2 which ended up having a great amount of shade. We were close to two restrooms/dishwashing stations that were always clean and never busy. Pro tip: remember to bring your own hand soap! The views were gorgeous, and the staff at the small general store were helpful and kind. We didn't walk to the dunes from the campground but instead drove to the day parking area. This way, we could enjoy the creek flowing at the end of May and not have to carry everything as far. I had a great time and can't wait to go back next year!

Some of the RV camp sites are small and next to the road. Nice area, good hiking and quite.
