We loved this campground!! The stars were beautiful, the trails amazing. The camp host, Terry and his wife were lovely people. Bathrooms super clean and well-kept. Site 42 was awesome! Really big site and good shade/sun ratio. Site 41 was also beautiful with the creek running through it. We also loved the town of Westcliffe. Highly recommend!

Fantastic stay at Alvarado campground. Tent camped in site 2; close to toilet and water source, private and secure. Site had a substantial climb up about a dozen railroad tie stairs to reach tent platform, so not accessible for those with mobility limitations or very small children. Right next to a small stream, nestled in an aspen stand. Dark sky country; if it is not overcast, the stars are amazing.Not far to Bishop's Castle and a nice ride north through the canyon to get to Royal Gorge. Westcliff is a quaint and well-stocked community. Definitely take time to stop in the railroad museums as you wander about time. Great friendly people throughout town!

It was great to see the host each day, and she was wonderful at keeping the bathrooms clean and for having wood available.We were disappointed that the nearby Alpine Lodge was closed due to being sold, but it won't keep us from camping there every August as we have been doing for the last 13 years.

We enjoyed our stay in Space 29 at Alvarado. The campground is very clean, the bathrooms were well kept, and the hosts were friendly and caring. We could hear cows mooing in the distance and geese honking. The stars at night are the prettiest ever. If you go to just see the stars you wont be disappointed.

Great campground. Pitched tent at site #33 off the main road so quiet and right by a bathroom and water. Site #33 is between Aspen. Pretty site

Beautiful area. Campground was well maintained. Liked that there were separate pads for tent camping. Guests were driving a little fast through the campground, however.

Beautiful campground, we had a walk in tent place, a bit secluded, which was perfect. We did the hike up to the Comanche lakes, via the trailhead at the base of the campground. It was stunning!!

Camp host is excellent. Put toilets were well kept. Great access to area trails. Only downside is full sun exposure at some sites so plan accordingly.

The wind prevented the enjoyment of the stay. Being in a pop-up camper I was concerned the damage that might be caused by 60mph gusting winds. Overall, it's a great campground and the spot was perfect for being away from neighbors and long enough for my trailer. I hope to return again under less windy conditions.

This campground was such a gem! There is a creek that runs through several campsites. Campsite 2 is beyond beautiful. The dogwood trees surrounding the campsite plus a private spot at the creek were just perfect. Bathrooms were clean and close by. As well as dumpsters/water.

The campsite was fantastic! The view was amazing. There were lots of open first come first serve sites. The campground was well taken care of and the camp host was very helpful when we were having camper issues. I will be back!

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.
