The sites are large and there is space between each site. You dont feel like you are on top of each other.

They were not stocking the bathrooms appropriately with toilet paper for a busy weekend. We actually ran out of TP and needed to bring our own. Thats never happened to me before.

Camp hosts were very night and the whole camp ground felt clean and up kept.
@MaxwellREFBD39 · Camped on Apr 2, 2025 at Campsite #36
There no longer seems to be a campground host. We didn't really have any problems, but unlike previous visits, there was no check-in and I'm not sure what we would have done if there was an issue like someone occupying our site. The bathroom did run out of TP once while we were there.

We pulled up and the winds were terrible, 70mph gusts made it impossible to stay. We took down our pop up camper and left after about two hours. Which wouldve been our anniversary and shortened our three day stay. But we will try again another time, freak weather that time was predicted for two days.

This was my second time staying here. You can tell there have been staff/budget cuts, but I still really enjoyed my stay. Vaults are some of the cleanest I have encountered, but I do recommend you bring your own toilet paper. Some sites have shady coverings, some don't. Some have accessibility pads, most don't. If this matters to you, read the website thoroughly before you book. For any site, book FAR in advance. I highly recommend staying here!

The site we had for this stay, #9, was perfect size for the trailer and Excursion. We didn't want to unhook as we were there for just one night this time. The campground is great.
@SammyM9744261 · Camped on Mar 30, 2025 at Campsite #RV3
The weather was especially bad with 30 mph winds and hail. There was no cellphone connection. Also, a generator was used at a site close by. There was no one around to check us in or enforce Campground rules such as speed limits.

Great venue, close to Las Vegas for easy access to the airport.
@Christina41928 · Camped on Mar 24, 2025 at Campsite #17
Still has the least effective, most inscrutable signage, non-existent hosts and potholes (not repaired). But its a great location!

March is likely the busiest time at Red Rocks in Las Vegas. The campground was FULL but people came at all hours driving around looking to see if there was a spot available. This translated to a rather noisy campground while we were trying to sleep. However, the campground temporary residents were quite polite. The actual infrastructure is adequate with pit toilets, potable water and individual tables and sandboxes to pitch your tent. Its a beautiful spot. Pro tip: you are required to get a car pass from the campground host EVEN if you have your recreation.gov campground reservation. The office is only open from 3-5 p.m. or you could be fined. There was one sign that said 2 p.m., so we waited unnecessarily.

3rd time staying in this campground, nice spot with a flat tent platform. We were worried that budget cuts would affect services like toilet cleanliness and TP replenishment but that wasn't the case. Staff were friendly, campers were quiet, and our spot felt private even out in the wide open desert. Definitely glad we got a spot with a pavilion for some shade.

No toilet paper in the bathrooms. Really? Otherwise the experience was great.
@BrianH4556502 · Camped on Mar 21, 2025 at Campsite #32
No camp host on duty, no toilet paper in the bathroom... what is going on here???
@YirongL2C50844 · Camped on Mar 21, 2025 at Campsite #1
It is clean and easy to find. Mine was #0,1 and I had on-and-off Internet connections. Thus, I was able to post on social media and update with my family.

Beautiful area.
@RobinS8336598 · Camped on Mar 21, 2025 at Campsite #RV6
We stayed in RV 6, quiet, no light or noise pollution. Super respectful campers, no music or generators! Just a mile or so from scenic loop entrance. Vault toilets, no showers but potable water. Amazing you are ~3 miles from Summerlin but zero WiFi!! Only downside, no camp host was seen for 2 days and bathrooms had no TP - Friday afternoon to Sunday morning!
@CJD5AEBE0178DD · Camped on Mar 20, 2025 at Campsite #51
I had site 51. I travel with a slide-in pop-up truck camper. Site 51 (and all the sites on the right side of that road) are not designed for you to pull your vehicle/camper into the actually campsite! You actually sleep on the road! There is nothing like on your website that indicates this. When I made my reservations there were only 5 sites taken. I could have picked pretty much any site. Instead, I had vehicles driving by, people walking by, and dogs barking all right by my head- at all hours of the day/night. There is ABSOLUTELY no reason why these sites cant be expanded and no reason why its not disclosed on the website as a WalkIn site. Thanks for a not so great trip/experience.

Campsite clean and good size, restrooms clean and well stocked. Shade structures appreciated. Early activity at the campground in the morning but campers were quiet and considerate when leaving.

Loved the proximity to the state park and hiking. Stunning scenery. RV site was fairly level. Camp hosts never in, strange. Clean restroom.

We arrived late and had no issues with anything, our spot was reserved and information updated. Tent area was nice! Beautiful spot.

Nice campground with many pit toilets throughout. Great place to stay and the scenic loop is a must do. It is gorgeous. Also many hikes throughout. If you are a climber, you can do that too.

Very cool place. Quiet, clean with great views
@BrookeBC592FD8 · Camped on Mar 7, 2025 at Campsite #1
This is a great place if you're planning to visit Red Rock Conservation Area or climb around the area. It's a short distance from rocks, there's potable water, options for shade at your campsite (gazebo), and there are bathrooms! What more can you ask for
@KipM54824CBAD3 · Camped on Mar 5, 2025 at Campsite #47
There are many sites that are mire than partial slope as described in your descriptions. For the tenters, or small trailers it is not as much but for longer units it's trouble. Our spot 47 was so sloped to the back, we had to dig a trench for our front jacksand frame. We still were not level. It was live with it or leave and lose money. Also most picnic areas were on the wrong side of the Rv's having to walk around the other side to access table and pit. We scouted a few other big rigs that parked broadside completely across their entrance because of conditions. Too bad. Nice area.

We track all the sites so you don't have to.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
