The camp host was SO KIND. She was so so so helpful when we had issues with our site. She truly saved our trip.

The signage from the road was not clear, so we missed the turnoff the first time. The check in was slow due to a large number of people arriving at the same time. The location is great. You can hardly believe that you are outside of Las Vegas. Courteous campers.

The signage to the campground is missing - turn left towards the fire station before the visitor center. Campground hosts were very friendly and the campground is scenic. Be aware there is no water hookup and no dump station. Generators are OK but campground is shared with tent sites so be aware of your noise because not all tent campers want to hear a generator even though they're allowed.

Such a beautiful place to stay and ti wake up to a spectacular dawn. What was disappointing was that the campsite sign said the campground was full (I snagged the last spot online the day before) but a lot of those who had booked sites never showed up. Come on guys if you are not showing up have the courtesy to cancel your reservation as there were plenty of others who stopped at the site hoping yo get a spot.

The staff at the park were very helpful and friendly. We did not use any facilities as we were in our 5th wheel. But it was clean, quiet and a great location.

Red Rocks Campground is clean and quiet. It is conveniently located near Red Rocks area hiking trails and some west side of Vegas businesses. There is no cell service or internet, no water to refill a tank, no showers and half the single person bathrooms are closed due to covid (?) Because Recreation.gov has outsourced the reservations system, $8 goes to them for each reservation - we were told by the host we must reserve on-line even when there were many vacancies and they have a credit card machine in the office.

Great for dispersal camping. I went tent camping there Oct 2021.This is what I wish I knew before arriving. Absolutely NO service for any provider!! Not too big. All sites are about the same size & view. Walk up campsite Extremely close to car. Save yourself $10 bux & choose the walk to site. Only outhouse like big enclosed bathroom shacks w light available. Even if they only had 2 I wouldnt mind walking to. But they have I think like 6 so bathroom shacks are close to every site. Water available outside bathroom shack. Pretty clean bathroom. Definitely make sure you bring a hammer. Very hard to put stakes in ground. Square sand pit for tents had Cement underneath it so it was very hard to get any of my stakes in. No Fires allowed. Brought my pug & he loved it. Must stay be leashed. Quite hours 10pm-6am. Everyone honored. But cars coming in made some noise & lights after 10pm. Didnt bother me too much but if you are a light sleeper it may. Beautiful views! Be careful driving in speed bump, more like a curb, I messed my car up going over. Sign literally right before it & hard to see. There are like 3 of em. Overall had a good time. Ps No tents allowed at RV campsites.

Some of the camp sites have a shade structure over the picnic table. Otherwise there is no shade. The garbage canisters are located away from the campground in the entrance/exit area. It was very very windy during our stay in May. This campground is located a few miles from the actual Red Rock canyon area. There is nothing to do at this campground.

I was dismayed that the nearby trails were posted no bikes. Trailforks app shows them open.

Easy to check in & find out spot. Bathrooms were very clean with hand sanitizer provided. Water was easy to get. Everyone was respectful of noise & quiet hours. Would camp here again.

Great campground with attentive hosts. Good network of MTB and hiking trails right out of camp. Generator hours are way too generous. 6am to 10pm! Our neighbor used every second of it.

Nice campground with clean bathrooms and even lights. Really upgraded in the last few years.
