The campground is crammed and very noisy with trucks driving through it into the late night. The natural setting is disrupted by a set of shipping containers.Dont plan to hang out in the campground there is no charm to it.It is close the Red Rock area which is convenient

Hosts were generally not present. Could have been due to time of year. Our campsite was not level, neither side-to-side or front-to-back which wasnt ideal for our travel trailer. However this seems to be only sites furthest from main entrance. If towing a travel trailer, we recommend the sites closer to entrance. If you have slides, look carefully at width of the site and distance to picnic shelter (about half of the sites in this campground have them) before reserving. Other than that, this campground is very clean and well maintained. We stay here frequently, fall and spring. Planning another trip soon.

The check in was easy even though we were a little late arriving. The site was clean and the staff was courteous.

This was our first time trying out our new truck tent. As soon as we arrive we were graciously greeted by the camp hosts who were so very nice. We had campsite #38 and it was absolutely perfect! A great first time experience. We only live 20 minutes away so we will definitely be returning as soon as the weather starts getting better.

Nice and clean campsite. We appreciated that the bathrooms were cleaned daily. Only about half the sites have shade coverage. Amazing climbing and beautiful park/surrounding area. Our only true negative comment was we discussed with the campsite hosts about the possibility of having a late check out a so we could squeeze some extra climbing in. At the time the hosts were very accommodating and understanding and agreed to a check out time of 1pm, and planned our day around this. However the day of our check out we were told we had to be out by 11. Not the end of the world and made for a good story of fitting six people, all of our camping gear and two bouldering pads into the car, but we would have planned a different activity if we had known we could not have a late check out.

Camp hosts turn water off at night and dont turn it back on at a regular time. Campsite 2 week limit should read CAMPGROUND 2 week limit, even if you site you you cannot stay here longer than 2 weeks. Gotta keep those campsites open for? Theyre empty, but thank goodness for the two week limit and the water being turned off every night.

Be aware that the campground does not have a view of the red rocks or of anything interesting. Also, there is no sign on the highway for the campground entrance road--the sign is for the fire station and the campground sign is visible after you turn towards the fire station. This caused us to wait in line at the visitor's entrance to the preserve, where we were told that we'd passed the campground a couple of miles back.

This campground was conveniently located right outside the scenic drive. I have to say that the vault toilet was the cleanest I have ever seen in any park, state or national. I was actually shocked how clean it was. Wanted to share that as those of you who frequent park restrooms know some of them can be pretty bad. Enjoyed our stay and would certainly go back if in the area.

This is a beautiful campground. Bathrooms were clean- the proximity to the Canyon as well as town was incredible. I couldnt imagine that the night sky would be as beautiful as it was even thii oh ugh we were so very close to Vegas. We would happily return!

Camp hosts were super nice and got us checked in quickly. We spent the next day climbing in the park with a JHMG guide, it is a spectacular place. Don't forget to get a reservation for the park online.

It is a lovely location, but our site was very unlevel, requiring all 30 of our leveling blocks and we were still seriously slanted. In addition, despite being just a few miles from the outskirts of greater Las Vegas area, we had essentially no cell service.

We had such a amazing time at Red Rock Campgrounds. The camp hosts there were awesome and very friendly, they keep the place looking great, you could tell they take pride in what they do. We'll be taking another trip back to Red Rock as soon as possible and staying in the campgrounds again. Can't wait. :) Thank you for a great lil family get away
