The site is located close to the main road into the campground. So you'll see cars' headlights as they come into the campground or leave. But the site itself was very nice. One of the restrooms is across the site, and so is the water spigot, which is located at the restroom. The pit toilet is kept very clean, and there is a motion sensor light in the restroom for nighttime. The site has a sand tent pad, grill, picnic table, and a fire pit. When you pack out your trash, you'll find a huge blue dumpster on the main road leaving the campsite. When you enter the campsite, Check-in is located in a building to the left. Just follow the sign for check-in. If you need firewood, it will be at the Albertson's in town about 4 miles down the main road (Red Rock Canyon Rd). Take a right on this road from the campground. You can find a Chevron gas station, food, and any other supplies at the plaza with Albertson's in it.

Peaceful camping. Quiet and dry. Easy access, decent signal mostly.

So the wife and I decided to come here we needed a few nights to be able to stay in between our main area where we were going to be for a while, we ended up staying three nights very comfortable we love the quietness and the calmness of the mountains around us. We would recommend this place for any type of camping. Wife and I boondocked for the three nights and it was our first boondocking experience, and it was a learning one. We rent our generator for an hour and a half twice and neighbors were upset even though it was outside of the quiet hours. But as I said we enjoyed it very much and would recommend it.

Restrooms were clean, Camp site was clean. Camp hosts were amazing, warm and helping.

The great- Views are amazing, from your site. See peeks of Red Rock Canyon and cliffs which reminds you of Vermillion cliffs. Clean and simple sites, seem designed for tents and van lifers. Nice large tent platforms. Though close to the metro area, feels isolated. Quiet. Cell service was sketchy but doable on AT&T. Attentive maintenance.Not great- many parking pads are very unlevel; poor signage entering sites after 9pm night no real directions, pets will experience very rocky surfaces everywhere. One large trash container at entrance for entire grounds, no trash cans within grounds

The host was very helpful both checking in and checking back with me the next day. The site was clean and well maintained. A beautiful location and a welcome place to camp.

Enjoyed the scenic loop and a relaxing day sightseeing. We did a hike to Calico Tanks which offered a rewarding panoramic view at the end. We stayed at the campground which was well maintained, comfortable and convenient for our trip plans. We ended our time at Red Rock by revisiting the highway overlook. Was surprised to find a drone flying area at the overlook. All in all out trip to Red Rock was a memorable experience.
