Convenient location and lots of privacy. I'm very disappointed that toilets at the campground are very basic ones without sinks with running water. Other campgrounds in the area (Las Vegas Bay and Boulder Beach) have them. No place to wash dishes, brush teeth, etc.

Beautiful spot so close to climbing and hiking. Quiet and clean camp ground.

A mixed bag. Amazing area as always, and the improved reservation system at the campground and canyon makes things easier than a few years ago. Be aware the campsite is always windy, not much to be done about that. But you can't get a better spot for the recreation opportunities, and it's amazingly dark and quiet for how close the city is.This trip, we wondered about the dozens of folks obviously camping right along the main road despite numerous no camping signs. Kinda disincentivizes paying for a campground if there's going to be acceptable free camping within walking distance. That's not the campsite's problem, but it's something future guests may want to consider. Campground-specific: the hosts were impossible to find. The reservation email is very clear that your site will be given away if you are not checked in, and we rearranged the first 2 days of our trip trying to catch the camp hosts at a time they would be in, since no one replied to our emails. This really, really sucked. Especially when then hosts eventually told us they would never give away a site...that also seems inefficient; shouldn't they let a walk in book an unclaimed site? Then on day 3, after we had finally been able to check in, they woke us up at dawn to tell us we needed a pass to hang on our mirror. When I replied, "what's wrong with the pass we have?" (the one they'd given us yesterday, hanging in plain view,) they said "oops, go back to sleep." Ughhh. Also somebody stole our firewood....and put up a ridiculous amount of lights and played loud music in obvious violation of campsite policy. So, campsite neighbors and host: 0/5 stars. Location: 5/5. Not our best trip to this site.

Great campground. Its quiet and bathrooms are clean. Close to the scenic drive and not far from the strip

A great quiet alternative to staying in Vegas, but still easy access to the night life if desired. Great access to the canyon for hiking....

Camp ground hosts were friendly and helpful. Great views if you hike up the ridge behind the camp grounds.

Barb is the best host! So friendly and welcoming, clean bathrooms, and wonderful location.

Clean, well kept and great for exploring the park. Wish there were showers. Loved the shelter.

Minimal amenities, but beautiful landscape with ample outdoor opportunities near by. So close to all things Vegas with a really great natural feeling. Lots of light pollution, but draws a nice contrast to the darker desert sky. We had our trailer, so lack of showers wasn’t an issue, but could be problematic for those seeking to clean-up after hot dusty days.

If you're looking for an excellent camping experience, with bathrooms, water, fire pit and more...you've found your place. Oh, did I mention how beautiful the sunrise in this location is? Epic.

We often stay here because it is so close to town and bike trails.

Bathroom was clean. Sites were nice. A lot of space in between sites.

Would have gave it 5 stars, but the sites weren’t cleaned. Cigarettes, cans in Fire pit and old charcoal still on Bbq.

Well kept campgrounds and restrooms. The camp spot I got stayed at has a grill, fire pit, and a picnic table. What more could you ask.

Everything needed for camping is readily available. Nice clean restrooms, water, flat space for tent and RV. Ten minutes from the grocery store and right by scenery loop. Excellent.
