The campsite location is awesome! The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. There was never a camp host there all weekend which isnt necessarily a bad thing however a big, at least 30 foot class A RV was parked in the adjoining campsite and ran its generator all night. I go camping to escape city noises not have them running into the night.

Great location! Far enough away from the main road to be peaceful and quiet. Great night skies, cloud permitting. Plenty of outhouses. Great sites each with a boxed area for tents. Just wish more sites had an overhang/ shade structure to shield from the day sun.

This is a spacious campground conveniently located for Red Rock Canyon and various hiking areas. Clean facilities and friendly, easygoing hosts. It gets busy and early booking is recommended. There is no natural shade or shelter and it can get a bit dusty. Grocery stores (Albertson) & gas station within 10 min drive at Summerlin.

Very disappointed to pay 22$ when I have the National Parc Annual Pass. It should not. But when making the reservation on line, there was no question or box for the Annual Pass, only for discount pass like senior citizen etc. The place is beautiful but not worth 22$ on top of the America The Beautiful Annul Pass.

The only major challenge we had was with the wind. The first night we checked into a hotel because the wind repeatedly blew down the tent some of us were using. It was relatively painless to visit Valley of Fire state park during our visit to the area which I would say was a must-see destination.

Loved it there. Close enough to Las Vegas but still in the middle of no where. Clean and quite.

Love the campground and Red Rock. Frightening to see the homes climbing up the hill, hope it stops where it is. The wildlife and scenery needs to be protected.

Excellent time out at red rock campgrounds, camp hosts very nice and helpful.
Only issue was we were not able to drive the tent stakes into the ground in the designated tent area.

We stayed four nights at Red Rock and thoroughly enjoyed the quiet campground at night. We were in the area for family obligations and therefore did not have the time to explore any of the trails besides a brief visit to the Calico trailhead. A staff member welcomed us at check-in, camp hosts were present and available, and we felt very comfortable leaving our trailer and equipment during the day. The pit toilets were very clean. Most of the sites had canopies over their picnic tables, but our site 41 did not. We will absolutely return and stay here again the next time we come to Las Vegas.

Nice camp ground very clean and well maintained. Really good that you can book a site in advance.
Not sure what benefit closing 50% of the restrooms is now.

This campground has clean bathrooms, with water spigots at each bathroom house. Well run facility. Would definitely recommend as it is just outside Vegas, less than 10 minutes away, in kind of a hidden valley, so cell signal was not very good.
