The RV in the campsite next to us generator was so loud we couldnt enjoy any peace and quiet. Very loud!! Completely ruined out experience. This is an ongoing problem!!!!! Solutions- ban generators - provide electric hook upsIts ridiculous!!!! This is technically noise pollution!!!!!

Campground should be enlarged. Csmping in red rocks is always a problem, with limited options. So much blm land and such little available camping for a world class climbing destination

3rd time staying in this campground, nice spot with a flat tent platform. We were worried that budget cuts would affect services like toilet cleanliness and TP replenishment but that wasn't the case. Staff were friendly, campers were quiet, and our spot felt private even out in the wide open desert. Definitely glad we got a spot with a pavilion for some shade.

Prachtig gelegen camping in de nabijheid van Las Vegas. Heel vriendelijk personeel, ruime plaatsen. Geen gebruik gemaakt van het sanitair.

Best to go in good weather and plan some short hikes to appreciate the area. As a drive-through it's interesting, but not as scenic as a number of other places we've visited.

This campground is OK. For those not familiar with this area, it's very windy and cold in February. There is no shelter from the wind so be prepared for a challenge to get a fire going and to keep warm.We stayed here so we could mountain bike. The spot is quite close to a lot of trails in the Vegas area.

Very clean and beautiful location. Camp host was very nice and helpful too. Only complaint would be the very high percentage of no-shows. The campground was fully reserved on the website but only half (or less) of the overnight camp sites were used on a Sunday and Monday night. Very frustrating.

I Liked that we got a spot for two days, not sure if you can control this, but I don't like moving each day of my vacation, from site to site. Any way thanks for all you do!Steve

The campgrounds were well spaced out. I will always advocate for the tents sites to be separate from RVs due to both generator noise and nighttime heaters which are noisy. The overhead structures were well done and bathrooms were clean and well situated. Unfortunately cell coverage was a problem. The camp host was very nice.

Beautiful campground. Nice and quiet. Camp hosts are very helpful and keep a good eye on the place. Will definitely go back.
There should be a map or directions to help guide you to your campsite. We (and *every* other car we saw) went the wrong way several times before we found our site number.

We keep returning and finding more to like. We pitched a tent for the first time. The tent pads are great. They’re level with a pretty fine substrate and eye hooks in the wooden pad frame, to tie down a tent. Nice! The drive to the main part of the park, the scenic loop, is like five minutes, so unbelievably convenient.

Very clean and quiet campground, was cooler and windy in February so people were in their tents and campers a little more than usual. Quick drive to nearby trails.
Major Issues
@HelenaC325· Camped on Feb 7, 2021 at Campsite #18
The campground is conveniently located to access hiking on Red Rock Canyon's many trails. The camps are nicely spaced and clean. Since I was in a tent, I found the noise from generators used for RVs to be loud and disconcerting. One man left his generator on from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm. Another RV pulled in and started a commercial generator at 8:00 in the evening. It was so loud that you couldn't even talk in the camp next to them. These are allowable hours, but they detract from the experience of quiet and serenity in camp. It seems that half the spaces should be RV spaces in one half of the camp, and the other half for tents or no use of generators. I would love to camp in this campground again, but only if I have my trailer in a nice, quiet space. I DO NOT use a generator and a lot of people are now using solar for power. I hope my recommendation is useful.

The tables were so filthy dirty!! Im surprised you can get away with that with this virus going on! I hand scrubbed ours on site #3 but they need to be power washed! Why were some of the bathroom closed? That only cause more people to use the ones that were open?

The campsite was very clean. It is very close to Red Rock Canyon, so it's a convenient place to stay if you are visiting there. There wasn't much privacy, as the sites are all within view of each other. It was quiet during the evening, so it was easy to get a good night's sleep. The bathroom facility was clean. There were signs that stated no fires allowed, however, people at a nearby campsite had one anyway. No one made them put it out, so it was a little frustrating. All in all, it was a good experience.

What a spectacular site in the mountains, that makes you feel like you are 100 miles away from Las Vegas! Beautiful setting, and well spaced sites. The campground hosts were very visible upon check in, and were extremely friendly and welcoming. Sites were very clean and well marked. The vault toilets perhaps could have bin a bit more clean, but were certainly adequate.

If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
