The campground is quiet and beautiful with adequate sites for a small 18 foot long trailer and truck. The only problem was someone was illegally camping in our spot when we arrived and they were gone from the campground. There was no campground host available at 4pm on a Friday. We tried to call the emergency number on the office door, but we got continuous phone trees and no one answered. I finally called the non emergency number for the police and they located the Ranger. The Ranger came and said he would call the people who were squatting on our property by looking up their number on the license plate of the car parked there in our space. All of this hubbub took about 4 hours to resolve. We were exhausted from an 8 hour drive from our previous location. When the folks finally returned with the sheriff it was 10 at night. There had been a reserved sign on the post with my initials in plain sight but the squatters claimed that they thought the site was open for another night. The sheriff or Ranger said that they were responsible climbers and he was not going to ticket them. We never received an apology from them. My biggest complaint is that there was no camp host and we had to deal with a lot of anxiety until late at night as to when we could settle into our site. We are older seniors and we were extremely tired. This experience really made our experience there less appealing.

There are many sites that are mire than partial slope as described in your descriptions. For the tenters, or small trailers it is not as much but for longer units it's trouble. Our spot 47 was so sloped to the back, we had to dig a trench for our front jacksand frame. We still were not level. It was live with it or leave and lose money. Also most picnic areas were on the wrong side of the Rv's having to walk around the other side to access table and pit. We scouted a few other big rigs that parked broadside completely across their entrance because of conditions. Too bad. Nice area.

Lovely location! Well away from the highway.

Really nice campsite, reasonably quiet, very friendly hosts and other campers. Most sites are reasonably flat and sizeable. Out site (47) happened to be more not-flat, but we made it work using all of our levelers. If you want flat, say away from the loop furthest from the entrance.

Excellent park. Not a national park, but a national conservation area. Not sure what the difference is, but it is a beautiful place. People camped all over the place, on the road, in trail heads, in the campground. Lots of rock climbers visit here. So close to Vegas. Loop drive was cool, we did it 2x, but saw no tortoise visitor center was helpful but small. Restrooms were out of order but they had Porto potty s. Warm here in January.Lots of hiking possibilities, we did not do any long trails, but they all looked interesting.

Great location, love coming here, love the solitude and beauty, the camp hosts are so wonderful, but the county needs to do more road and site maintenance for this campground. Rutted roads, I stayed on site 47 and it is totally un-level side to side and front to back. Terrible for a trailer. Just wish the city/county would invest more in this campground's infrastructure.

Very clean and well organized campground. It's definitely primitive with only drop toilets and water spigots (no sinks or showers), but it's totally worth it being surrounded by such beauty. The campground managers were friendly and very helpful. I'd definitely visit again

Too expensive for no amenities (no electricity, no water spigots at each site, no RV dump station, no trees or shade whatsoever). The sites are way too close to each other and some sires don't have their own parking spot so they park on the main road and could block the road or your parking spot. Camp hosts were friendly. Only recommend in winter and early spring. I guess what you pay for is the convenience of being close to Red Rock and Summerlin.

Nice campground. Very nice and helpful hosts. A quiet place to stay to explore the Canyon and to attend NFR. Only issue is the lack of internet but if you park higher up, we were in 47, we got some coverage. In site 33 we had almost none. Bathrooms were not open when we were there.

Have a 40 ft Motorhome and identified this when reserving a site. Reserved site 47 which stated it was long and wide enough, but didn't know about the 20° sloping driveway. Went to the campground host who gracious found us a hidden gem close to their area. Spot was flat! Haven't gone back to the reservations site to see where I went wrong or did the site have an error. We enjoyed 3 wonderful nights at the campground.

Great location. Sites are not very level, but manageable.

Nice sites with ample space and spacing. One problem I had was a very uneven ground, leveling the trailer was a time consuming challenge.

Bathrooms were incredibly clean, and the campground hosts were very helpful every time I used the site.
