This was our first time camping here and we had a great time. The rangers were very helpful when we had to change sites. Bath houses were always clean. One of the best things is that we got to see a bear right in front of our site.

We had a great time at Cades Cove campground. The spots were spacious and we enjoyed walking around. The park staff was wonderful as always!

It was way too noisy and when the park rangers were told the first night they said oh they will be leaving the day after tomorrow. When told the second time they said its just one more night you should have heard them a couple of nights ago, they were really bad. In my opinion if the park rangers arent worried about minor things like that as they called it, what else are they ignoring. Or more importantly and worrisome if they cant make their authority be respected or taken seriously then how safe is it really to stay at the site.

As a 1st camping user, I feel comfortable here. Of course,as a 1st time visitor to GSMNP, camping is very good choice.

Thanks so much for closing the loop to car traffic on Wednesdays. It was so enjoyable to ride our bikes around the loop without navigating cars!

It was a beautiful campground with lots of trees, level paved campsites. We cycled Cades Cove several times and it was a great experience. We enjoyed the historic buildings and history, saw bears with cubs and enjoyed biking at night. The bicycle shop changed our bike batteries for us and were very helpful. We hope to return again soon.

Staff was amazing and very helpful. Saw some turkeys and other birds in the campground. I chose the generator free loop hoping for a quieter experience. However, this seemed to be the gathering spot of several families having a get together, so people were very loud and kids were running and screaming all through the sites.

Site C20 is excellent when its dry. We had a downpour and the tent pad flooded 1.5 deep. The bottom of the tent felt like a water bed. Everything in the tent got soaked. Our neighbors had the same problem.

Loved the campground!! The site was spacious for me and I felt extremely safe throughout my stay. Although cades cove is a very popular campsite, it still offered a quiet and secluded environment. The only small inconvenience was the distance to some good hikes. Many trails were only within driving distance.

Bathrooms very dated but kept clean. Good ranger/ worker ratio.

Although the rules state that generators have to be less than a certain DB level, it is not enforced. Its a long day when your neighbor runs their loud construction type generator 12 hours a day

Always a wonderful time. The ice cream at the store is a daily treat that cant be passed. We had a wonderful bear encounter at Abram's Creek. Just remember to keep your distance.

Exploring the cove near the end of the day can help avoid some of the crowds and increase your chances of spotting wildlife.

Nobody is there to keep people from driving through all night long and most people camping there could care less if anyone else in there camping is trying to sleep. Vehicles were in and out all night long and people stopping to use restrooms slamming doors on their vehicles and being loud. Maybe just the other folks that night camping but we didnt sleep at all and left the next morning and had paid for 3 nights. Good place to stay if your deaf and blind probably

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
