I thought this was very nice, even sites, concrete slabs. Back in sites for RV. The store was nicely stocked and had soft serve ice cream! They also had bike rentals. It is right next to Cades cove loop for early or late rides in the park. The loop closes around 815pm and opens at sunrise. I recommend the morning! There is no wifi or cell servive

Rode our e-bikes around Cades Cove Loop and saw deer and bears. Campground was clean. Rode back into the cove at dark and saw the Fireflies. This campground should be high on your list.

Spacious camp sites, level tent pad, clean restrooms. We heard barred owls calling at night! But glad to say our fellow campers were very quiet.

Campground was clean with working bathrooms. The campsite felt very close to the neighboring sites and people had to walk through our site to access the bathrooms. Overall a very good experience minus the comments above.

The rangers were kind and helpful, especially the female ranger during check-in. I enjoyed the campsite! For hiking, I did the Chimney Tops trail for the first time. I hope that it will eventually open completely.

Very convenient to Cades Cove Loop. Campground is well maintained and restrooms are clean. Be sure to visit the store and get their ice cream!

We had a great time! B51 was very close to B53 but the family we were traveling with had that site and those two together make a great family space. Bathrooms were fine. Camp store had very little groceries, more souvenirs than anything but you could get a firewood, ice and a hot meal or two when needed. Both families were in tents larger than the pad provided so they did hang over a bit. We love Cades Cove and cant wait to go back!

Very nice campground, lots of shade. Easy access to other park attractions. Some big generators were a bit of a nuisance but then generators were allowed in our loop. Lots of bears and Piliated Woodpeckers too!

Awesome place and showers would make it even better after a day of hiking to Abrams Falls

We camped in site C17. It was away from the congestion of the campground and close to the bathroom and nature trail. The site was level, the bathrooms were cleaned daily, the staff was excellent, and there was limited wifi at the front entrance in the event of an emergency or needed to check in at home. There is a well stocked store that serves some hot food and ice cream as well as souvenirs and supplies. The only area I would like to see more of are for the Rangers to be out and about. I will definitely stay here again.

Very nice campground. Our site was B-47 and was level. There were a couple of small branches that our 11 roof brushed when we backed in but were no problem for us. We enjoyed our time there which was too short. Next time we will be sure to bike the Cades Cove Loop road.

I was unlucky and encountered three days of rain, varying from heavy mist to torrential downpour. Not the park's fault, but it certainly affected my experience. That said, I last visited the Smokies 50+ years ago and the experience was quite different. I liked the driving loop a lot and took some hikes from it; however, it was very crowded with cars stopping - as they were asked NOT to do. All in all a good time despite the rain, and I find the Smokies an all time wonderful Park.

Ranger was helpful in modifying reservations to make my stay easier. Bathrooms were cleaned immaculately early each morning. The Cade Cove Loop was insanely backed up with traffic. Charge people to drive through. Generate $$$ for the park and maybe deter some drivers.

Cades Cove is a peaceful retreat nestled in the forests of the Smoky Mountains. The campsites have been improved with paved back-in spots that are practically level, which was delightful after a long drive. No need to fill up with water before making the trip. Fresh water is available at the campground (but not at your spot). There is no electricity to plug into, however generator areas are available to reserve. The bathroom facilities were clean and convenient.

Beautiful campground. Picnic area was fantastic also. Nice being so close to Cades Cove Loop. Cell signal available by the maintenance buildings in front of C8 area. WiFi available in the pavilion. Camp store nicely stocked. Loved staying here.

Facilities were old and need of cleaning and maintenance. Campsites are too close together.

Trip would have been fabulous if cars were not on the Cades Cove Loop as park service website advertised. Several times cars ran me off the road while I biked the scenic loop. One person even blocked my way with his huge truck, proceeded to get out and yell violently at me to get off the road. That I had no right to be there on my bike. Really?!!! Cant yall drivers share? And why did the park decide to not honor their no-car Wednesday policy thus putting all of us cyclists who came to ride at risk? Very disappointing and NOT what I paid to camp and bike for. Beautiful but disturbingly dangerous. Would be an awesome ride without cars!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
