Chose the first spot in the campground because I was leaving early am and didnt want to disturb other campers with my truck starting. I arrived after the attendents station was closed but they came by the site and checked on me. They were extremely friendly and helpful. Was close to the Cove loop so easy to start hiking early the next morning. Would stay again.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The camp store was very nice. Campsite was in good condition. Restrooms could use a refresher.

We had a great time at our campsite. The site was large and perfect for us. The campground was great for biking. We enjoyed riding in our trunk around Cades Cove first in the morning and before sunset. The campground store was fun and the ice cream was great

2 problems1. Garbage pickup is at approx 6:00 on Saturday morning. The truck goes to every dumpster. The truck is very loud and of course makes a huge noise when it bangs the dumpster up and down. So much for the quiet peaceful camp experience. 2. The service/maintenance center is located beside camp area C. that is not a problem except as the workers race in to beat the clock in their loud trucks then race out in their backhoes, graders, ect at 7:00ish not only are they very loud they are clearly moving faster than the posted speed limit. Because it is early no rangers are in sight. This is not only a sound issue but strikes me as unsafe. The item 1 has been going on for years and I keep thinking we were there just on an odd day. But, it never ends or changes.

The campground was great and the store was very helpful. The Abrams Falls trail was a highlight for us, with 3 kids it was about as intense as we could go and everyone loved it.

Bathrooms near our campsite (C1) closed at 5. The closest ones were not in good working order. Other than that, we were super happy with our stay there and experience!! Beautiful area.

Had a wonderful time as always. The parking on this site is beside and below the camping area if thats important for you.

Generally nice campsite with a tent pad and large surrounding gravel area with a firepit. You'll be close to your neighbors though. Water fountains didn't work, RV water hoses didn't work, filled up water bottles in the bathroom sink. The bathrooms are the only amenity, and when the campsite is full get crowded. Right next to a ranger station and tourist store, surprised neither offered public Wi-Fi access (no cell service in this area for T-Mobile or I would suspect any other cell provider). About a 10 mile drive to Townsend, which has a 24 hr gas station and nice convenience store. Cades Cove itself is great, avoid the worst crowds going early morning or late in the afternoon.

I liked my campsite where it was located and the view was pretty good. It was not too far to walk to the store either. I really enjoyed staying there and it is nice that I could ride a bicycle on Cades Cove road. That was a lot of fun!

My family stayed at Cades Cove for about three days. It was a very nice campground with very nice sites. The only complaint that I have is that due to it being offseason, the campground shop and information center where you check in and where the rangers stay is closed. The campground shop along with its restrooms were also closed and taped off. That could very easily be due to the time of year, but that would be my only complaint.

We loved the campground and driving the loop. It was beautiful, but during the day the state of Tennessee was paving the parking lot and apparently the nps gets no warning of this so it was extremely noisy and there was no way to warn us ahead of time. We ended up leaving a day early because of this. Definitely coming back though. The campground was amazing!!

Very noisy early in the morning. Got woken up by speeding cars and truck from workers at 5 am both mornings. Mentioned it to a young female ranger in the office and she ignored my concern and said they we’re trying to get a construction project done for handicap parking in the picnic area. Really? No concern shown to share with her supervisor. People were parking in front of our campsite because lot was full. No one was even attempting to monitor that either. Not a relaxing experience!! Ranger needs an attitude adjustment. Not a friendly office with anyone there. Elkmont was a complete different experience!!

Check in was very easy and quick. Restrooms were clean. Plenty of park rangers around if there were an issue. Only negative issue (and it wasn't real bad) was as soon as the sun came up alot of maintenance vehicles, including dump truck, were coming in and out. So whether you were up or not there was no more sleeping

We had a great experience camping here! Campsites were a good size and the bathrooms are heated. Very close to the Cades Cove Loop for nightly bear sightings but still felt very safe with the rangers nearby. We hope to return!

I love camping at Cades Cove and the campground is great. My only complaint is about the lack of a mask requirement in the indoor restroom. Other than that, it was perfect.
