Checked in after hours. The late patrol passed by and checked in on us. Had a great time at Cades Cove and in the Park.

We had a great time at Cade's Cove at the beginning of June. Our campsite was great near the loop Nature Trail which made for great short hike with the kids and was close to the bathroom, which was well maintained. We did a 24hr bike rental and the kids loved biking around the campground in addition to our big bike ride along the Cade's Cove Loop. Biking the full Cades Cove Loop on Wednesday when it's closed to automobile traffic was amazing. We saw turkeys, deer and black bears at multiple points, even a mother with 4 babies climbing in a tree. After our bike ride the ice cream at the campground store really hit the spot! This campground store is the best in the park (among Cade's Cove, Elkmont and Smokemont).

It was great my only issue is I wish they had a way that you can take a shower once in a while the shower is nice when you're staying for a while

The campground was clean and the sites seemed well maintained. The bathroom was cleaner than we've seen in past visits, but there are no paper towels or hand dryers so there is no way to dry your hands. The staff at the store and the rangers at the check-in station were all friendly.

Clean campsites and bathrooms. No cell service through AT&T. Beautiful location near the famous Cades Cove Loop. Can’t wait to go back!

Much more crowded compared to SmokeMont campground. Some tents spots were almost next to each other. Restroom cleaning condition is OK. Smelled a little weird when the fan was not on. Hand soap was often empty. Road construction was going on when we were there so we didn't see many wild animals. A bit disappointed.

I really love the cement parking spots and the flat gravel/sand leveled tent spots. I was bike camping so one suggestion I would like to be considered is to have bear lockers at every campsite to keep your food and scented items away from bears. The closest one available was pretty far away - opposite end of the campground. My family and I usually tent camp so we have no RV in which to hide our food and soap, etc. Most campgrounds in California (state, forest or national park) have bear-proof lockers at every campsite in bear country and compliance is pretty easy.

Great place to get away as there is 0 cell service. I like how they left as many trees as possible.
