We enjoyed our stay. Was nice that they offer an area that is generator free. The store onsite was awesome. Nice 1 mile nature trail in the campground.

Nice fairly level site. Being up on a hill, there was a nice breeze.

We stayed for nine nights on Space C25. We have stayed at the park many times and always look forward to our next trip. There was one thing that would cause me not to choose C25 again. The fire pit on the site on our door side and the fire pit on the site behind our camper was uncomfortably close to our fire pit. We prefer to be spaced farther apart where we cannot hear the conversations of our camper neighbors and they cannot hear ours. One of our neighbors behind us was playing music one night that and it kind of messes up the whole reason we come to Cades Cove which is to be able sit by our fire and to listen to nature. All-in-all it was another great trip and we plan on reserving a spot next for next spring.

Campground is well taken care of. Employees are highly knowledgeable and helpful.
Only issue is the Cades Cove traffic jam.

The overall camping experience was fine. The major issue was the crowd and number of people along the loop road. I would recommend a couple of changes: 1. limit the number of visitors in the Cove. Possibly go to a lottery system similar to some other parks (i.e. Glacier). 2. Allow campers to have access to the Cove before the general visitors. It's a shame that we pay for camping and find it virtually impossible to enjoy the Cove. A number of times I would leave the campground to go out to the Cove Rd only to have to turn around. One option would be to open the gate an hour or so earlier for those camping. At least give campers an opportunity to enjoy the camping. 3. Do something to the bathrooms. I have been coming to the GSMNP for 50 years and nothing about the bathrooms seems to have changed. Maybe update and install AC/Heaters.

It was a little confusing finding our camp site because there aren't signs showing where individual sites are, there was no map available or personnel to help and a lot of the campground loop was closed this time of year. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay. Very quiet on New Years Eve.
